Free Music Review: A homerun with my daughter

My daughter just turned 2 and loves this CD. We borrowed it from the library, our first Rafi experience, and she instantly fell in love with it. I will now buy our own. I do agree with the customer who commented about the "spider on my head - I wish that I were dead," but I anticipate the words and turn down the volume all the way and sing "boy, my face was red". Otherwise we LOVE this CD. I particularly like the driving beat of "Down by the Bay". We make up our own words for a couple of the songs. I heard her singing the words to "5 Little Pumpkins" and I don't even know all the words to that one. "Robin in the Rain" reminds me of the Farrelly Brother's movies. My daughter always asks for this CD to be played.Free Music Review: It is magic!

My daughter is 16 months old, and very attached to my wife. A friend of ours gave us a copy of Raffi's singable songs several months ago. It is magic! When we were driving, sometimes, for some reason, my daughter felt unhappy and asked her mom (who usually sit next to her in the back seat) to get her off the carseat. Of course, we did not and then, she became upset. (Every parent knows what happened next.) She would grab my wife very close and very tight. However, as soon as we played Raffi, she stopped crying and did not mind sitting in the carseat anymore. Sometimes, she would even push my wife away. We do not fully understand the reason, but we are happy that it works magic.Free Music Review: Number one childrens album

I first got this album when I was 3 years old and now 24 years later I still remember all of the words to the songs. Even though I do not currently have children I recently purchased this Raffi album along with "More Singable Songs" as a memory of my childhood and listened to them both on the way home from work. It brought back so many memories of my childhood and I can remember singing "Robin in the Rain" with my Mother and her sister. This is truly a wonderful album for children and adults alike. This will now be on the top of my gift list for anyone with young children.

Our nieces and nephews loved Raffi, so we picked this one up for our 14-month old son who absolutely loves it! He claps whenever he hears it in the van, and Raffi's voice is so soothing, that he often falls asleep to it. At home he dances and gets so excited when he hears the simple yet fun tunes....and even fusses in between songs wanting more! Raffi is great for adults too as he has an easy, folksy voice that isn't annoying like many of the other music they have out there for children. The songs were carefully planned for the very young and are easy to sing along with....for parents too! Pick it up and enjoy!Free Music Review: You & Your Children Will Love This! Your young child will love these songs and sharing them with you! These songs were very special for our children when they were very young. They are very likable, fun, and singable songs.Some songs are upbeat, rhythmic, and fun to sing to. Some songs are great to dance and sing to. Some are great for hand and body actions while singing. Some songs gently speak to a child about his or her emerging world in a fun, singable way. Some have basic values, like sharing.
Raffi's music has helped to make a happy and wholesome environment in which to grow. It's a very happy, singable album!
