Free Music Notes for Rage Against the Machine

Free Music Review: Rage At Their Best
Hit: 5 Stars

I would have to rate this as their best album so far. Every song is great, it's like putting on Zeppelin 2.

Free Music Review: RATM's best album ever!!
Hit: 5 Stars

Rage Against The Machine's self titled album is without a doubt one of the greatest albums of all time, and it's also their absolute best album ever. I've had this album since my junior year in high school, and I still listen to it to this day. Words just can't describe how much I love this album. The blend of rap and metal go perfectly with the politically charged lyrics. On this album you've got great vocals from Zach De La Rocha, awesome intricate guitar riffs and cool ass solos from Tom Morello, awesome funky hearable bass lines from Timmy C, and great drumming from Brad Wilk. "Killing In The Name", "Bombtrack", "Bullet In The Head", "Take The Power Back", "Know Your Enemy", "Wake Up", and 'Freedom" are my favorite songs. Hell every song on here rules, but those songs are my big highlights. Now for the ratings.
themetalbeast's song ratings:
1. Bombtrack - 5/5
2. Killing In The Name - 5/5
3. Take The Power Back - 5/5
4. Settle For Nothing - 5/5
5. Bullet In The Head - 5/5
6. Know Your Enemy - 5/5
7. Wake Up - 5/5
8. Fistful Of Steel - 5/5
9. Township Rebellion - 5/5
10. Freedom - 5/5

See every song gets a 5 out of 5!

If you're new to Rage Against The Machine, this album is the one place to start with. Forget Linkin Park, forget P.O.D, and forget Limp Bizkit, this is REAL rap/metal done right. Buy this album now. 5 stars man!!

Free Music Review: All Hail RATM
Hit: 5 Stars

this is the best ratm album you can pick up it contains well written songs w/ some intricate guitar playing and of course the powerful voice of zach de la roacha. the songs on the album are unbelievably written like bombtrack and killing the name of, know your enemy, and much more. i like audioslave but this album alone puts rage in front of them a great buy for any one

Free Music Review: I think I heard a shot.
Hit: 5 Stars

Not only is this one of the best albums of the 90's, but one of the most stunning debuts to ever grace the world of music. It blends both rap and metal to perfection, with politcally charged lyrics and groovy, infectious guitar riffs that would make Limp Bizkit sh*t their pants. RATM is a great musical expierience. Closed-minded sh*theads need not apply.

Free Music Review: Pure, Unadulterated Rage Never Sounded So Good!
Hit: 5 Stars

When I first heard "Rage..." I had never heard anything quite like it except that it sounded to me like an intelligent mixture of Black Sabbath, Public Enemy and Led Zeppelin but even then, the originality of the pure hate and rageful vocals got me rivetted. These guys sounded like they really gave a hoot about the topics of all their tracks and in that way was reminiscent of Punk's the Sex Pistols and The Clash and yet despite all these comparisons, the band still managed to get their own signature sound. They are also great musicians and to think that all that great sound effects on the cd came just from Morello's guitar! The rhythm section is extremely tight and the vocalist is excellent. This is one great hard rock album and the strongest tracks are "Killing..." and my favourite, made famous by the Matrix soundtrack is "Wake Up". Another truly amazing thing about this disc is the production. Not only are these guys great songwriters and musicians but they produced this album too! The sound quality is excellent and I can only imagine how great a remastered version would sound. Still, the sound quality is so good that you don't really need a remastered version. Excellent tracks, great sound quality, highly recommended!
