Free Music Notes for Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow [ORIGINAL RECORDING REMASTERED]Free Music Review: Rainbow's first album and first masterpeice Hit: 5 Stars
This isn't as much power metal/neo classical album like the next 2 but it's a great and diverse album. Man On The Silver Mountain, Still I'm Sad, Self Portrait, Catch the Rainbow, Temple Of The King and Snake Charmer are all classics. the weakest songs are If You Don't Like Rock N Roll and Black Sheep Of The Family. This album mixes neo classical metal, progressive rock, power metal, folk, classical music, classic rock and blues. The whole band sounds amazing. If you like rainbow's other albums, Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Dio, Elf ect. than you'll like this.
Free Music Review: Great cd Hit: 5 Stars
I owned the original album and after repeated playing and my father yelling turn that crap off, it began to pop and crackle and this cd brings me back to the old days with out all the extra static...including my father who i just had to call after recieving this in the mail while playing it... well he still doesn't like it but he said it sounded much better than it did back in the day. It is 1 of my favorites and they still play it on the radio. Great sound, cool music and great price. I just LOVE it!
Free Music Review: One of their best Hit: 5 Stars
Rainbow's first album remained one of their best along with Rainbow rising and Down to Earth. Such classics as "Man on the Silver Mountain" "Catch the Rainbow" and "Temple of the King" were never rivalled - the wonderful mixture of heavy rock and folk elements (as in Temple of the King). The great thing is that with Dio one never got the usual rubbish Rock lyrics - his lyrics weere of a different order - Lord of the Rings like!
Free Music Review: The Original and the Best Hit: 5 Stars
This is by far my favorite album from Rainbow, hell, my favorite album in all of rock. Many will tell you that RISING is the best Rainbow album, and I totaly agree,RISING was the band at it's musical and creative peak and i love RISING but, i still preffer the warm magic charm of the debut album. Ever song here is pure musical genius, can't name a favorite because i love em all.
Free Music Review: great move on from Deep Purple Hit: 5 Stars
A fantastic, rocky, and still modern sounding effort from Ritchie Blackmore's new band on leaving Deep Purple - actually all of Elf bar the guitarist, rebranded and given a punchy new sound. Here you'll find the peerless Man on the Silver Mountain, the superb Black Sheep of the Family (benefitting from the superior vocals of Ronnie James Dio), and much more.
