Free Music Review: Awesome Industrial Metal
Hit: 5 Stars

I really can't say that I'm a big fan of industrial metal, but I can say that Rammstein isn't a band to pass up. Having heard Sehnsucht before this, I was a little sceptical. Sehnsucht was a okay album but it really didn't impress me much. This on the other hand did. From the first track to the last, I was in awe. It basically blew their next album (Sehnsucht) out of the water. I love the mix of some techno, industrial, and metal. Every song sounds different from thefirst to the last, which is somewhat a rarity for me. I also love the lead vocalist's singing. It's very operatic. Every song is good, though I have to say Seamann is the best. I had never heard of a industrial ballet before this and thought it sounded ridiculas when my friend told me about it. Then I listened to it. I can describe it in one word: beautiful. This is just an awesome cd.

Free Music Review: Not a bad thing to say about it
Hit: 5 Stars

This is probably one of the best metal albums ever created. And that is no stretch. Not only is this Rammstein's utter best (with Sensucht close behind), it's also one of the best ever. This album never once disappoints from beginning to end. It's the most solid work they've ever conceived, and this should be an example for all metal bands today. You don't need to scream like an animal to make good metal. Rammstein are naturals. They were born to do this. And they've just set in stone that they are among the best in the business. It's too bad not enough Americans know about them. These guys rock hardcore. And I mean HARD. CORE. If you love metal, BUY THIS. You don't even necessarily have to understand the words. The music is amazing. Plus the lyrics are in the booklet for you to read. GET THIS NOW. You absolutely will not be disappointed.

Free Music Review: I am Rammstein, hear me roar!
Hit: 5 Stars

In my opinion the best Rammstein album (although it is a tight one) out of the three albums to date (not including Live Aus Berlin). Songs like 'Wolt Ihr Das Bett In Flammen Sehen', 'Der Meister' and 'Weisses Fleish' add a head banging, hard rock aspect to the album while in direct contrast the song 'Seeman' shows that Rammstein have a quiter side. The best thing about this album is that 'every' song is of a high standard, something that the numerous american boy/girl band community could take note of. If you are looking to buy your first Rammstein album, bear in mind that this is their 'hardest' album as in the strong guitar sets and fast tempo certainly overhaul the keybord/synthesizer aspect of other albums, but it is certainly a brilliant bit of work. The song 'Rammstein' is awesome (and even better live).

Free Music Review: Great Album
Hit: 5 Stars

Rammstein's debut album doesn't dissapoint. I listened to most of the tracks long before I got the album itself. To say that this is Rammstein at its rawest and simplest isn't really an understatement. Eventually, the band started to develop a more melodic and slower style, decreasing with each album until Reise Reise. I am keen to the slower songs, like Seemann, Klavier and Nebel. I started with Mutter, and it took me long to buy another album from the band... basically because the band was kind of typecasted with Du Hast when The Matrix was released and you basically heard it every week for two years.

My personal favorites from this album are Wollt Ihr Das Bett In Flammen Sehen?, Der Meister and Du Riechst So Gut. It's great to hear a band that's good from the very beggining.

Free Music Review: Quality and emotional stimulation merge as one...
Hit: 5 Stars

In my view, this is by far superior to their second CD. Whereas the latter is merely good European techno/metal, the songs here (particularly Seemann) evoke something very emotional and purely Germanic (or at least my stereotype-induced conception of Germanic), like a modern incarnation of the Wagner opera. It isn't just that the music is executed with an unexpected degree of professionalism, or that the lead singer's voice is worthy of any Teutonic god. There is something in the style itself that leaves one feeling vaguely enlightened and/or empowered. No, this music is not very subtle, yes, the lyrics are a bit over the top and a bit stupid, at times, but that is part of the loud, heavy-handed appeal that Rammstein (along with most Baroque and Romantic music) engenders.
