Free Music Notes for HerzeleidFree Music Review: The Greatest of Rammstein Hit: 5 Stars
Du, Du Hast, Du Hast Mich. That song doesn't compare to all there other songs, but this album is defently there greatest. I suggest for you "Du Hast" fans to listen to songs like Du Riechst So Gut, Der Meister, Asche Zu Asche, Heirate Mich, Rammstein, Laichzeit...... awww this is point less all thier songs are way better than "Du Hast." Also there slow songs are awsome like Mutter, Klavier, and the song with an amazing bass line Seemann. Another thing, Rammstein are the greatest intertainers in the world, not only cause there music, but because of the stage shows with fire, random explosions, some S&M fantasy stuff and increadible clothing. I suggest you to get "Live Aus Berlin" there first probly not the last live video. (...)
Free Music Review: German is truly the language of Hard Rock! Hit: 5 Stars
Rammstein is a definate step into defining a new sort of Rock. Though some would think that the band would not be worth listening to for the fact that it is in German, they are wrong. Despite, or perhaps because of, the fact that I could not understand the exact word content of the songs, I was left every time with the raw feelings that this band puts into its work. In succession the tracks on the album "Herzeleid" induced in me aggression, desire, love, fear, and a number of other emotions. This album isnt simply heard, its injencted into your veins. Music like this rarely comes along, but when it does it goes down in history. So grab up this album now, as well as their other hit "Sensucht".
Free Music Review: This is an excellent CD Hit: 5 Stars
Herzleid is one of the best CD purchases I have ever made in my life! Some of the best songs on this CD are about showing the darker sides of humanity. Examples are 'Heirate Mich' (Marry Me) about a necrophilliac, 'Du Riechst So Gut' (You Smell So Good) about animal lust, 'Weisses Fleish' (White Flesh) about a child killer, and for fun 'Laichzeit' (Spawntime). 'Das Alte Leid'(The Old Pain) and 'Asche zu Asche'(Ashes to Ashes) are also good, hard tracks, and I enjoy annoying my Fundie neighbors with them. I have had this CD for seven months, and I still play it like I bought it yesterday. If you're still ancy about the german, there are lots of websites if you're curious to what they're playing about.
Free Music Review: Herzeleid kicks serious ... Hit: 5 Stars
Being a heavy metal to death metal listner I was a little leary of this album due to its "Industrial" label. Gotta say I loved it! This album is amazing. It reminds me a lot of "Cowboys from Hell" as a debut album. Raw and heavy, Dime bag Darryl could be ripping out the riffs on this one. Listen to Der Meister & Weisses Fleish and just try to keep from banging your head, I just wish I spoke German so I could tell what they are so angry about. For you metal heads out there your neck will hurt from the grinding riffs of the guitar and bass, and dare I admit it I even liked the keyboard. For you clubbers, its a little heavier then most techno but its repetative beats will keep you going. I can't recommend it enough!
Free Music Review: Rammstein's excellent debut.... Hit: 5 Stars
...is far superior to their follow-up effort, Sehnsucht. Herzeleid contains less techno, and goes more along the lines of straight-up metal, with heavy guitar and bass riffs, plus one awesome drummer (Christoph Schneider). Till Lindemann outgrowls James Hetfield on the German vocals, which range in topic from a twisted song about grave-robbing (Heirate Mich), to a song about protecting yourself from heartache (Herzeleid). All in all, this is an excellent CD...but I must say I prefer Metallica any day. The only track I dislike is Seemann. Best tracks: Herzeleid (Heartache), Heirate Mich (Marry Me), Du Reischt So Gut (You Smell So Good), Rammstein (Battering Ram), and Asche zu Asche (Ashes to Ashes).
