It is rare, these days, to find a CD that sounds as bad as "Live Aus Berlin." The other Rammstein album that I own, "Sehnsucht," is itself rather poorly recorded. (For an example of a German band that really knows how to produce a top-notch recording, listen to Einsturzende Neubauten's "Tabula Rasa" or "Ende Neu" album.) If you have lousy equipment, or you only listen to "Live Aus Berlin" in the car, you might be able to get past the poor sonic quality of the recording. If, however, you are easily perturbed by lousy recordings, you should skip "Live Aus Berlin."
