Free Music Review: Hear Rammstein as they were meant to be heard.
Hit: 5 Stars

"Live Aus Berlin" is, without a doubt, the most intense Rammstein album available. Forget the studio work (which is still great) - Rammstein is at their best live in concert.

Don't be swayed by people who say the quality of the soundtrack is bad - in actuality, the album only sounds "bad" because, unlike on most live albums, you can hear the audience throughout all the songs. The Family Values album comes to mind in this case. The audience was heard only at the beginning and end of tracks on that album. This was not the way Rammstein was meant to be heard. In "Live Aus Berlin," the audience is constantly interacting with the band, singing along and chanting throughout the whole concert. It's a truly unique sound that should not be missed.

Free Music Review: Brings out the best of Rammstein
Hit: 5 Stars

As the title says: Live Aus Berlin definatly brings out the best of Rammstein. Though the video/dvd probably keeps you interested longer, the CD is great for old and new Rammstein fans alike.

One thing I love about this CD is that it stands out from many bands by having all original songs. Every song has its own unique sound. Songs like 'Du Reicht So Gut' (You Smell So Good) come off properly forceful and songs like 'Speil Mit Mir' (Play a game with me) come off with a creepy edge. The guitars play heavy, clean riffs and the drums are solid.

This is definatly a great addition the collection of Rammstein fans or any rock junkie.

Notable tracks: Spiel Mit Mir
Weisses Fleisch
Du Riechst So Gut
Rammstein

Free Music Review: YES!
Hit: 5 Stars

I think I saw the video before I heard the CD... but in any case, everytime I hear this CD I remember the video of the concert. The Pyrotechnics... Everything... This CD is great. Nothing quite captures the spirit of the Rammstein experience quite as well as this recording excepte perhaps the video or being there.

Everytime I hear "Seemann" I picture Flake going over the crown in his little inflatable raft. When I hear Engel, I see the girl ing the cage surrounded by the pyrotechnics. When I hear "Tier" I see the little girl just standing there. As a matter of fact I think it is that scene that really made me think. I admit I was biased againts Industrial Metal at first but since I started studying the translations it all made sense.

Free Music Review: This is Rammstein at their best!.
Hit: 5 Stars

If you're looking for some great live music, then this is the album to get. Rammstein is great on the studio, but when performing live they rock like hell!!!

If you're someone like me who cannot afford the limited edition CD, then go grab this one instead. It won't hurt that much even if this one is lacking three other songs.

One word of advice, though: if you're planning to buy this album then you've got to have more money. Because after listening to it you would want to buy the rest of their albums as well! So go ahead and do yourself a favor: buy this album, play it loud (playing it loud is the ONLY way to enjoy it), and #@$& off your neighbors!!!

Free Music Review: good......but the lyrics are strange
Hit: 5 Stars

I recently bought Live Aus Berlin,my first album by Rammstein. The music is very good even though it is in German but i did the translasions of the song titles, some are pretty strange. An example is "Spiel Mit Mir" when i translated it ment,Play With Me. Also Rammstein means "Ram It" I think you get what i mean. Im not saying dont buy it,it is worth the $13 but,the songs are about some weird stuff.I dont really care because i cant speak German, but i would hate to find out what the words mean.If you like Metal/Techno and dont care that its in German than i strongly recommend this CD for you. If your not, better go try something else.
