Free Music Review: An accomplished and consistant album

I truly love this album. I was first attracted to the band after hearing Sonne on a Kerrang C.D. I would just repeat it and listen to it over and over. I wouldn't consider myself the greatest Metal fan per se, but the bands I do like from the genre, I love! I put this CD into my CD player, not expecting too much and was absolutely blown away by the opening track `Mein Herz Brennt', and the album shows absolutely no sign of decreasing momentum in the second and third tracks "Links 2,3,4" or `Sonne". There isn't one song on this album I would consider `filler' and every song in its own way is amazing! I couldn't even pick 3 of my favourite songs off this album as they change all the time.
It seems like a fusion between industrial metal, classical and euro-trash and it works a great degree!
A great listen that will not get old. I recommend it to anyone

This German industrial-metal machine has proven itself to be quite popular, with their engaging, potent brand of electronic-enhanced guitar rock and outlandish stage shows appealing to everyone from young teens to fortysomethings. (Their last studio release, 1998's Sehnsucht, went gold in the U.S.) On their third studio album, Mutter, the sextet augments its propulsive sound with a live string section and a soprano on a few tracks, while offering two mellower tracks to show their soft side.
