Free Music Notes for Reise Reise

Free Music Review: Incredible music!!
Hit: 5 Stars

After a very long wait of more than 2 years finally they have come up with an album mind blowing.....This is for all the hard rock, metal, heavy thrash music listeners, if you fall in any of these music categories believe me you don't wanna miss this album, although all the lyrics are in german language, the music itself speaks the global language of hard rock!!....

if you already like rammstein then this album is worth spending money i would rate it better than previous two..

Thier last few albums like mutter and sensucht had pretty great reviews too....almost 9 out of 10 songs on those albums were great...so i was really worried about them comin out with a new one would probably have 1 or 2 good numbers and rest just experiments....but eventually i was wrong....i found almost all of the songs mind blowing new kinf of music....even if they are experiments they'r pretty well concieved...for any metal music lover i would recommend this album...

even though i dont know german language that much but i could understand the lyrics a lil bit as ive been listening to german music for a while....

i love the song reise reise which is also the title song for the album.....some other ones like mein teil, keine lust, Los, moskau, stein um stein are pretty cool!!....

Free Music Review: RAMMSTEIN'S BEST?
Hit: 5 Stars

I've been a Rammstein's fan for a long time, and I have to say that they have never ever dissapointed with a new release, and as a matter of fact, they even seem to be getting better and better as they become older and older.

"Reise, Reise" is probably the best album yet produced by these geniuses. It is filled with inspiration, clever thinking and significance. Every song is an amazing experience, showing that RAMMSTEIN has just become more and more stylish with time, refining in their taste for content in their albums.

Highlights of the album, for me, include definetely "Dalai Lama", with its beautiful lyrics, very interesting song structure, and marvelous building up of the feel of the song. Another high point in Reise, Reise is "Keine Lust", dramatically well put in terms of the message, ends up in an emotional climax of coldness. "Moskau" is an amazing track as well. But the definite surprise with this album, for me, were the ballads. Us, Rammstein's fans, know that this band writes awesomes ballads, but the ones in Reise, Reise (Amour and Ohne Dich), are, in my opinion, the best ballads yet written by the band.

That's it. Amazing, glorious music from this clever German band. Perfect example of non convergent music that has achieved to master its own style.

Free Music Review: Best from the Best !!!
Hit: 5 Stars

One of the more unlikely success stories in music-business history, German heavy-metal collective Rammstein creates a totally uncompromising and wildly (some would say ridiculously) dramatic sound that combined elements of goth, industrial, Wagnerian opera, and progressive rock, with lyrics sung almost exclusively in German. Rammstein's concerts were even more over-the-top than the ensemble's recorded output, matching the performance art-inspired wackiness of Devo with the gross-out antics of Gwar.On its fourth album, REISE, REISE, the group continues on its mission to be one of the heaviest, spookiest, and most bizzare acts in rock, delivering one bone crunching, sci-fi/monster-movie-like epic after another. The title track mates effects-laden My Bloody Valentine-style guitars with Dream Theater-like twists and turns, while "Morgenstern" features a chorus that sounds straight out of an Alpine beer hall operated by Freddy Krueger. The most significant break with the classic Rammstein sound, however, comes with "Los," which is driven by a surprisingly bluesy acoustic guitar. Often sounding less like a band and more like the disembodied product of a haunted, demon-possessed recording studio, REISE, REISE will undoubtedly please any fan of extreme music.

Free Music Review: And again, a great album by Rammstein
Hit: 5 Stars

After their masterpiece "Mutter", Rammstein comes with a new album which maintains the same high quality, alltough the pacing is a bit slower.

Indeed there's a larger amount of slower songs on this album, but this doesn't weaken the album. In fact, it's variety is one of the albums strenghts.
Next to "traditional" heavy songs such as "Mein Teil", "Keine lust" or "Stein um stein", Rammstein brings us the acoustic bluesy (!) song "Los" and the love-ballad (!!) "Ohne dich". Both songs are absolutely amazing and show that Rammstein can do anything.

My personal favourite is the song "Dalai lama". It's a perfect bland of great lyrics (they're based on a poem by Goethe) and perfect atmospheric music. And the chorus never fails to send shivers down my spine. Very good song indeed.

And of course we have the more poppy sounding "Amerika", which is NOT a political song by the way. It's a general statement about the American culture spreading all over the world. In a very ironic, tongue in cheek way (like Rammstein always does). Wether that's a good or a bad thing is up to you to decide.

To sum things up: Rammstein again delivered a great album with lots of variety and very strong songs. Very recommended.

Free Music Review: an independent work from Rammstein as always
Hit: 5 Stars

independent from who?? from the music industry that creates the same form of music under different names. unlike the engineered music that is performed by engineered boy bands and little girl bands that infest and contaminate our minds today, Rammstein's music is real food for those hungry for melody, rhythm and deep, meaningful lyrics. not knowing German is no excuse, there are a couple of good sites that give very good translations of their songs. look for them. Hell , you may even want to try learning a little German. Rammstein's songs have strong metaphors and a real violent form of German-Expressionism. They have been making mainstream music for about a decade now, and they constantly evolve and expand their territory. The new album is different from the rest in the way the songs make their "expression". The intensity is always present but know the lyrics carry a greater portion of that intensity, which
I think is a very good advancement. And as they suggest in their songs "LOS" -" now they are talking"- In brief, I am so happy with this album. It is a very good addition to their previous albums. And I am glad that THEY DID NOT REPEAT THEMSELVES or do a variation of their previous works with the new album. There is progress here.
