Free Music Notes for Road to Ruin (Dlx)

Free Music Review: Road to Ruin should've been Road to Stardom!
Hit: 5 Stars

Critics and fans have said how this ruined the Ramones. I'm
sorry but this album is a rock classic and one of the best
of all time. Every song is great! If anyone else had written
this at the time the radio would've played it to death. It's
ashame after some of the Ramones have died that now all these
people are saying how great they were. where were they back
when they needed them? I was there and proud to have supported
them from the 1st album to the last. Road to Ruin should've
made them rock stars. I can't believe the Hall of Fame voted
them in. Anyway this is a great album and if you don't have
it you don't know what your missing! one of the best!

Free Music Review: Hanging out on Second Avenue.
Hit: 5 Stars

The Ramones fourth album is another classic album. Tommy was replaced by Marky on the drums on this album, but Tommy was still around as the group's producer. The group's sound "matured" somewhat on this album, but still stayed true to their punk roots. Just about all the songs here are classics, with "I Wanna Be Sedated" being a classic among classics. The CD has five bonus tracks. The first three are the Ramones tracks from the Rock and Roll High School soundtrack (all classics). The last two tracks are demos of songs that were never recorded for an album (because they aren't very good songs). This CD is one of the best punk albums ever recorded and I highly recommend it.

Free Music Review: Very good album
Hit: 5 Stars

Believe it or not i had to think about what was the best Ramones album that i liked for a good long time. I had already bought their first album and their second album, so i decided to buy this one of course. This album is really their best in my opinion. The sound production was a bit more clean than the other records, but what i like about this album is that it is more raw. All of their songs cannot be skipped! Johnny's guitar is just awesome with Marky's hard drumming. By the way, i agree with one of the reviewers below,If you dont like The Ramones, you dont like Rock n Roll. Easy as that. BUY!

Free Music Review: A New Road For Ramones
Hit: 5 Stars

Road To Ruin is considered to be the last best record they ever made. Sure they did use more pop and experimentations like "Questioningly" but they also gave us more classics like "I Wanna Be Sedated" and "I Just Wanna Have Something To Do. All of the songs on here are good and most are great, the only thing that seperates this from other Ramones records prior to Road To Ruin is that Tommy was replaced by Marky.Road To Ruin brings fans down a different but truely great Road and at the same time rocks their socks off.

Free Music Review: its comes together
Hit: 5 Stars

All the pieces come together for the Ramones. Tommy and Ed in the production chair give the album great clarity and Marc Bell's powerful and expansive drumming give the Ramones a huge kick and musical versatility. Johnny, Joey and DeeDee are in fine shape and create a great rocking, album. The Ramones were never a real punk band. They were a great American Rock and Roll band. Road To Ruin has always been my favorite Ramone's album and on my all time rock and roll list.
