I have worn out 2 cassettes and one CD of this soundtrack and everybody who has ever heard me playing it asks what it is. Even my spinning teacher plays it for a cool-down at the end of class. I love this movie and of course the score that should have won the Oscar! It fits this period piece perfectly. I can't believe the only DVD version of this movie available is the Director's Cut which actually cuts some of the scenes and the best part of the musical score. The "I Will Find You" song is cut out of the new DVD version. I love that song and how it fit into the movie. I prefer to watch my original VHS copy even though the color is dull, because I don't want any of these wonderful songs cut out.Free Music Review: truly awesome soundtrack...

others don't even come close to this soundtrack. Usually, you get 2 maybe 3 pieces-this cd is full of beautiful string music. I listen to it constantly in the car and its always one of the most played playlists on my ipod.
Its inspiring music.
