Free Music Review: Here's To You Review
Hit: 5 Stars

If you liked the first album by Rascal Flatts, then you'll love Feels Like Today. This album covers every type of song from love and romance to a thank you to their fans. Rascal Flatts combines country music with a pop sound that makes their songs truly unique. If you like the traditional lyrics of country music then you will definitely enjoy those of Rascal Flatts. They really know how to take the basic "drinking and lost love songs" and not only add a twist to them, but also expand the horizon of country a little and make it a bit more personal.

One of the best songs on this album, I think, is "Here's to You". This is definitely a different type of song because it's written solely for their fans. When you listen to this song you feel like they are singing it directly to you. It's such a different type of song it sets them apart from other artists.

Another great song on this album is "The Day Before You". This is a song that describes how wonderful it is to meet the person you are going to spend the rest of your life with and that all the things that happened before this person no longer matter.

I think Rascal Flatts is so enjoyable to listen to because you can listen to the whole cd from beginning to end and every song is good. Now how many cd's can you say that about...exactly. And it's not just this cd, it's all of their cd's. This album is definitely money well spent. I guarantee that you'll listen to it till it is worn out.

Free Music Review: Rascal Flatts: It Really Does Feel Like Today
Hit: 5 Stars

The first time I heard "Feels Like Today" by Rascal Flatts, I instantly fell in love with the song. Rascal Flatts' newest album, "Fells Like Today," is their greatest hit yet. Their last album, "Melt," was also a great hit. Their new album was released on September 28, 2004. In the first week on the market, this album sold 200,000-plus copies.
Rascal Flatts is a pretty well known group in the world of country music. Before this album, they released two other albums, "Melt," and "Rascal Flatts." There really isn't a change in their style of music. It is the same as ever, but fans will be very pleased with it. But if you're someone who doesn't like country music, then you might want something different.
When I first listened to the CD, I wasn't at all disappointed. After awhile, the CD really starts to grow on you. I wanted to listen to it over and over again once I got it. All of the songs on this album are great. But there is one song that is my number one favorite. That is "Here's To You." This song is dedicated to all of the many fans that Rascal Flatts have and that is why I love this song. The album also has two hidden tracks, too. They are called
"Baby Don't Get Hooked On Me" and "The Man In Love With You." Overall, I give this CD five stars. This album is worth al 13 dollars and 49 cents. Rascal Flatts is definitely a group to look for in the future.

Free Music Review: Continuing to meld roots and pop into a superb sound!
Hit: 5 Stars

Rascal Flatts' third album (not including that DVD thing they had), FEELS LIKE TODAY, continues the rootsy sound started on their last album, MELT. It's present just enough to let you know these guys are not boy-banders--they are the real deal. And of course there's enough pop to endear them to country music's growing teenage girl fanbase.

The serious tone taken on many of these songs may be a bit surprising (unless you remember "I'm Moving On" and "My Worst Fear"), such as the intoxicating openers, "Where You Are" and "Bless the Broken Road." The title track and "When the Sand Runs Out" preach of living your life in the moment (the latter song does this eloquently; the title track, not so much). Superb songwriting and musicianship (Gary Levox, vocals; Joe Don Rooney, electric guitar; Jay DeMarcus, bass) help craft this into an award-worthy album.

Each "Rascal" (yeah, that sounds horrible) contributed a song to the album, and they got together to write the blissful "Oklahoma-Texas Line." Three guys, one sound, Rascal Flatts have established themselves as talented hitmakers, overcoming the boy-band image garnered upon them when they broke through. Definitely, FEELS LIKE TODAY will help establish them as a country band that just happens to have a pop look (but not necessarily sound).

Free Music Review: ~still feels like ther best album~
Hit: 5 Stars

I've followed Rascal Flatts from the very beginning, and I have all their releases...but Feels like Today is still my favorite Rascal Flatts album. It's just amazing from start to finish - this CD is one of only a few I have ever bought that I can simply put in and listen to every song without ever having to skip any of them! Simply an incredible CD that is not over-produced...many of the tracks are just pure and rather acoustic.

"Bless The Broken Road" is probably the highlight - a tune that won song of the year at the 2005 CMA awards. "Skin" (originally a hidden track) is also a gem - a tearjerker that will give you chills when you hear it. "Feels like Today" is a feel good song, and "Fast Cars and Freedom" is a huge summer hit that will live on forever. Besides for the 4 hits, there are so many other great songs such as: "Then I Did", "Holes", "Where You Are", "Here's To You", & "When the Sand Runs Out"...which are all soothing and uplifting at the same time. Best album ever by Rascal Flatts, and one of my favorite albums of all time...just such a great feel to all the songs on it!!!!! Overall ~10/10~

Free Music Review: It couldn't happen to a nicer group of guys
Hit: 5 Stars

Wow! Just got the new CD and how awesome is it that these three incredibly talented men have come together to give their fans yet another fantastic CD. They continue to evolve as musicians and songwriters. And I have an inkling that they are who they are -- nice guys who have roots in faith and family, and their growing success won't change them one bit. But about this CD: superior. The best songs on it are "Bless the Broken Road" and the title track. But each song has its merits. I've been a fan of Jay's since his days with the group "East to West" and then have been a Flatts fan since their first CD. Success couldn't happen to a better or more deserving group of guys.

I do agree with a fellow reviewer on being frustrated about the various "extra tracks" depending on where you purchase the CD. (Get it at Walmart and you get two extras, and at Target there's one different extra.) For fans like me who can't get enough, that's just not fair. Here's a suggestion: make the songs downloadable on your website for fans who buy your CD. But otherwise: perfection! Keep on doing what you're doing and I'll keep listening.
