Free Music Review: Rascal Flatts -- "Feels Like Today"

I just recently started listening to country music, probably just a little under 2 years or so and the first country music CD I bought was Rascal Flatts "Feels Like Today!" The entire CD is amazing, there is not one song you want to skip because you do not like it. I usually buy a CD and do not like every song, but this CD is awesome. Two of my favorite tracks are "Fast Cars and Freedom" and "Skin." "Skin" is a song that touches everyones heart that has been in love or is in love and there is so much meaning behind it! "Fast Cars and Freedom" is more up-beat and a song you definitely want to sing along with. This is by far my favorite CD and I cannot wait for Rascal Flatts to come out with a new one! Rascal Flatts is the greatest band I have ever heard. They manage to take love, freedom, happiness, hope, fear, and cram it into a tiny case, and put a ribbon on it. The song Fast Cars and Freedom is one that describes people like myself very well. In fact, it's my song! When I hear the song, I picture a Red Nova driving along a dirt road under a beautiful blue sky. Freedom.
And if the new genre of country appeals to the younger generation, what of it? It's still good, and is VERY different from pop and that stuff. It's simple, you don't like the new country, DON'T LISTEN TO IT!
As for me, I find this one of the most amazing CDs to come out. You really should buy it!
Free Music Review: My favorite album!

I was in that stage a few years ago where I was definitely old enough to be getting out of the pop music and boy-banders stage, but not quite old enough to really be into the older country, so I was really only into rock and alternative music. When I listened to the Rascal Flatts for the first time, I was quickly hooked, and couldn't stop listening to the newer country that started coming out, that had the little pop/rock vibe to it. This is definitely their best album yet, and I love every song on it, my favorites being "When the Sand Runs Out" and "Feels Like Today". I definitely recommend this CD to Rascal Flatts fans and enthusiasts of the newer country that is out!Free Music Review: This IS real country

I have listened to country music for years and I don't understand why people feel Rascal Flatts aren't authentic. Their voices and harmonies are as country as they come and so are the sentiments in the songs. I don't suggest we throw away all of our old records, but there is room for the modern country singers as well. The Amazon reviewer referred to "Fast Cars and Freedom" as a "teen anthem." Listen again - the words are sung by an older man singing to his long time girlfriend or wife about their younger days. The first time I heard it I had tears in my eyes. I would love this group for this one song alone. Fortunately, they have many more to sing for us.Free Music Review: Everything you like about Rascal Flatts

This cd is full of great songs and all the Rascal Flatts harmonies that made this band famous. I have never purchased any of Rascal Flatts other cds but I have always loved their songs and just loved the song "Feels Like Today" so I bought this one. I was not disappointed! The harmonies are perfect and the cd has a good blend of ballads and upbeat tempos. But even though the songs highlight all the best of Rascal Flatts, it isn't formulaic or predictable. Overall, this cd is a wonderful example of Rascal Flatts range and talent.
