Free Music Review: I LOVE IT!!!

i love this alblum, i can't get enough of it, i've been reading many other reviews about this alblum, and everyone just can't stand the idea that rasputina is trying a new sound, now i can't say i'm a hardcore rasputina fan, only for the fact that i only got into them in i think june of this year, but i've already learned to love them and there the only thing that goes into my dvd player, i own most of there cd's except for how we qutie the forest, but i have heard a lot of songs from that alblum, i still can't grasp why people are so negetive twords this alblum, it's very good and well made and have beutiful songs, i'll show you my thoughts on the full cd:
1) doomsaday averted: i love this song, don't know why but i think i's beautiful in it's simplicity, it kinda reminds me of somethin' on an action or scary moive, where like the good guy walks away like they won, were it's just the beging, this song espestialy reminds me of "the grudge" (4/5)
2) secret message: this is a great song, i love melora's voice on it and how well it mixes with the cello's, it's so beautiful.

3) possum of the grotto: this song is really awsome i love it, but it took me alittle while to get used to it, not one of my favorites on the alblum (3 or 4/5)
4) if your kisses can't hold the man you love: I LOVE THIS SONG! i can't get enough of this song, even though i don't believe in cheating, i love the tune, beat, her, voice, and the line..."love is like homecooking, good and wholesome, but all men need some muttin on the outside now and then, so if you find your boy is cheating do the same old dear, he's only giving you the chance that you been waiting for for years..." ect. i wont' go on to long. (5/5)
5) the mayor: i love this song also, it's so beutiful, i'm not a political person but i heard that it's supposed to be about her uncle or something, the begining is a little hared to get used to, but the end is so beutiful. (5/5)
6)when i count: weird song... first "joke" song on the alblum, it's tolerabel, i dont't care for it as much but what ya gonna do? (2/5)
7) high on life: I LOVE THIS SONG! it's so awsome, i think it's just a fun song to listen to over and over again, cause it never gets tyering or annoying (5/5)
8) wicked dickie: this is a really great song, it starts off like a "joke" songbut then it gets really good after the talking. (4/5)
9) my captivity be saveges: i wouldn't nesisarily consider this a "joke" song, but more like and essay like in the first alblum except good, i like it cause it talks about history, thats always a good thing for e.c. in school, and it's very creative and explanes alot, i like how they put it in the perspective of eliza elizibeth jane cook (4/5)
10) saline the slat lake queen: this is one of the best songs on the alblum, it's so awsome and "hardcore" as one might say, i love melora's voice in this song, with the drums and the cello's accompining her o so ebautifuly. (5/5)
11) oh injury: this song is good but not one of my favorite on the alblum, the music is beautiful, but the lyrics can get old a little bit after a while, but i love the course (4/5)
12) when i was a young girl: I LOVE THIS SONG!! it's so much fun and great to listen to, i think that zoe does the lyrics on this with melora in more of the backround then foreground, but i'm not sure if it's zoe or just melora doing a loopy think\g or something, but this is a great remixe. (5/5)
13) momma was an opium smoker: this is a great song, but it's sad to think that some people have parents like that, but i love how upbeat and quick it is. (4/5)
14) november 17 dee: ok, i know it's not the best song ever, but you got to give melora credit for letting her daughter, Hollis lane, write and sing a song of her own, i think that it's really cool of melora to do that. (3/5)
15) girls school: i love this song, it's so beautiful, i especialy love the course, but the lyrics are kinda scary, makes me glad i'm a guy (4/5)
i didnn't know what to excpect from this alblum, wheb reading the name of songs it kind of scared me away and that made it the last alblum i got (save for how we qutie the forest) but don't let that happen to t\you, this alblum rocks so hard! the only smigen of disapointment that i found was... their clothes i much perfer the other style more, but i do like melora, with the top hat look, and the drop of one cellist is kinda disapointing, but zoe well makes up for it.
