You can't miss buying this CD. Funny, hilarious, wonderful, and way cool. Dean Martin will have you rolling on the floor. But Dino takes a moment to belt out some superb and straight vocals as well. Next Frank comes out and does his thing and later is joined by Sammy Davis.One surprise that will be obvious here; is how Sammy Davis and Dino are actually are a much better sound than Frank. As a long time Sinatra fan, I have been lately buying Sammy CDs [I've Gotta be Me, The Wham of Sam] and Dean's Cd's ... and I am amazed at how superior Sammy and Dean sing vs. Frank; even though Frank got the all the headlines.
This is a great CD you'll play alone and share with freinds time and time again.

I HAD NEVER HEARD A PERFORMANCE BY THE RAT PACK, MUCH LESS A "LIVE" ONE, UNTIL MY FRIEND INTRODUCED THE ACT TO ME OVER A COUPLE DRINKS DURING THE HOLIDAYS. I SOON FOUND MYSELF SITTING AT A TABLE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE COPA ROOM AT THE SANDS HOTEL BEING ENTERTAINED, BUT MOSTLY AMUSED, BY THREE INCREDIBLY TALENTED MEN. THE SINGING, QUIPPY BANTER AND ONE-LINERS WERE TOO MUCH AND I DOUBLED OVER LAUGHING WITH THE REST OF THE AUDIENCE FROM THIS INCREDIBLE LIVE EXPERIENCE. THIS RECORDING IS WORTH ITS WEIGHT IN GOLD FOR ITS MUSIC, BUT MORE SO FOR ITS QUALITY OF HUMOR AND FUN. IT MAKES YOU FEEL GOOD FOR 90 MINTUES. I just can't stop smiling every time I play this CD! Just a jumpin', swingin' mixture of music and horseplay among three of the greatest lounge singers God ever put on the face of the earth. If you're not smiling at the infectious beat to the music, your laughing at the old, off-color jokes running through the entire show! These three act like they're just fooling around in their living room, and they still sound like nothing you've ever heard! The sound quality is amazing for a live recording of this vintage. The brass section jumps out of the speakers at you and feels LIVE in every sense of the word. Buy this CD, sit back, snap your fingers and SMILE!...Free Music Review: FUN, FUN

This is so much fun to listen to! I just wish I had been there in that audience. If you have any interest in the Rat Pack, this is excellent. All the routine is here. Absent is Peter Lawford and Joey Bishop, but the classics are included in this Summit. It's a must!! My husband and I play this in the car and laugh, laugh! There's lots of dialogue between Dean and Frank, then Sammy joins them. There's also straight out songs played by Dean then Frank. It's wonderful and fun, and wildly entertaining. Enjoy this, and don't let it go. I just wish I was born long enough ago to see it for myself. It's a treasure!Free Music Review: BUY IT Rat Packers!

This CD is a sheer delight for Frank, Dean and Sammy fans. It really does sound and feel like you have a front row seat at the old (now gone) Sands. Especially when Sammy asks the front row if they ever inhale! Makes you want to be there. The orchestrations are sans pareil, the singing is great, the comedy is looser than the Asiatic flu, the lines are hilariously "in" and so politically incorrect it makes you wish the innocence of the 60's could make a comeback (or was that ignorance?)! To think Frank sat on the tapes almost forever! I wish there were many more like this. I'd buy them all.
