Free Music Review: Another Amazing Collection from Reba

I have loved Reba McEntire for a long time. Therefore I am biased that all the music on this set is great.
I was however not thrilled when I heard that once again we would be getting another "hits" collection. I had hoped for some previously unreleased material, but alas that was not included with this set. I also took issue with the packaging. The pictures did not look very appealing.
All that said, I feel that the pictures do not do the set justice. It is a pressed leather -- so the texture alone gives it character. The songs are all wonderful, although it would have been nice to get some of the Mercury recordings here as well.
I think the collection is solid. If you are a casual Reba fan, then this is definitely for you. It has all the greats all in one place -- from "How Blue" right up to "Because of You." It's the die-hard fans who have all the albums who will have more of a problem with the set. I bought it, and I'm glad I did.
Listening to all those great songs at once really reminds me of why I love Reba. She can sing a song and tell a story unlike anyone else. That is why she is the Queen of Country Music, and she will always be. This collection proves that she's had the career no other woman in country music has had. 50 Greatest Hits cements Reba's remarkable work. She's a gem, and there will never be another Reba!

I had almost forgotten how much I like Reba, especially from her 80's heydays. I even caught her at Six Flags Over Texas back then. This new collection has rekindled my affection for this genuine, humble woman and hard-working entertainer. I never watched her TV show, but I'm sure I would have enjoyed it. I ALWAYS appreciate "anthologies" because they gather the lion's share of hits and in consistent remastered quality and levels - no more collecting "albums" (or CD's) throughout a musician's career, only to discover how uneven the sound is when you attempt to compile your own "Best Of." Off the top of my head, the only songs that seem to be missing are "You Lift Me Up" and "You're the First Time I've Thought about Leaving" (MAYBE one more). Everything about this set is GREAT except Amazon's pricing: I saw it at Wal-Mart for $20 or $25, MUCH cheaper for the identical CD.Free Music Review: A must have for Reba fans

This collection covers a wide span of Reba's career. If you're curently a Reba fan, it's a great way to just sit back & listen to some of her best. For the newer fan of Reba, it's a great way to check out some of her older stuff. Either way, you'll be looking forward to her 'next' 50 Greatest Hits.Free Music Review: I Love Old Country Music!

Over all this is a WONDERFUL album. But they did leave off two Hits from her first GREATEST HITS CD. They are Just A Little Love, and He Broke Your Memory Last Night. But I think they could have made a 60 Greatest Hits off of this every easely. But I would still HIGHLY recomend is album to anyone.Free Music Review: Reba's absolutely amazing!!!!!!

Reba is truly one of the best there is. Although this collection doesn't include anything from her Mercury days, it does include almost every major hit she has had on MCA. Reba is amazing!!!!!!!!! This collection has more selection of songs than her #1s CD had. I LOVE REBA!!!!!!!!!
