Free Music Notes for Uplift Mofo Party PlanFree Music Review: Best album before they became popular Hit: 5 StarsI agree with everyone on this one. this is their best album before john and chad showed up. it their most underatted album and should of got more attention when it came out (it only got to like 148 on the charts! ) it contains great songs like "fight like a brave," "behind the sun" and "party on your pussy." a great album worthy of any chili pepper fan's time. one of their best.

Free Music Review: this album is pure 100% unadulterated FUNK! Hit: 5 Starsi love this cd. this is one of the best albums they have done, and only bssm surpasses it. buy this cd now - and be happy, don't - you'll be sorry.
Free Music Review: One of the Peppers' best Hit: 5 StarsIt's nice to see so many 5-star reviews here acknowledging the brilliance of this slamming album. This album, and the subsequent "Mother's Milk," represent the Peppers in their funky prime. Almost every song here is great, and the overall feeling is one of testosterone-fueled lust, artistic creativity and freedom, and love between four good friends. This album blows away "Californication," and anyone who thinks differently is not a true RHCP fan. This criminally overlooked album deserves much wider recognition for the landmark that it is. Before Limp Bizkit, before Korn, there were the RHCP fusing rap, funk and thrash like never before. And no one has ever topped them...not even themselves.
Free Music Review: It's like one ongoing orgasm! Hit: 5 StarsBeing the true, 100% funky sea monkey that i am, I could jump around to these tunes all day long. Not only are the lyrics intricatly structured, but the rhythm makes me want to get down on my knees, throw my head back and howl like a coyote. While "Skinny Sweaty Man " brings back memories of my last boyfriend, "Funky Crime" reminds me of youthful days filled with misdemeanors. (i.e. sombrero incident- South of the Border- 1990) I truly think this is one of the chili pepper's finest pieces because of the uplifting beats mixed with Anthony (swan)'s soothing voice. I must add that i enjoy the various sound effects(Funky Crime) and voice changes (think Skinny, Sweaty Man)found in this album. That just adds to the creativity of the band.
