If you're already a fan of Renee then you won't be disappointed. This album is excellent!! If you're being introduced to her for the first time then you're in for a treat. She's a remarkable vocalist with the ability to make you feel like she is channeling some of the greats from the past. The album is produced by legendary and highly celebrated music produer David Foster. If you have any interest in this style of music, it's a great buy. The only other thing that would make this an even better listening experience is to purchase her other album, the self titled "Renee Olstead". Enjoy! El segundo album tan esperado de nuestra querida Renee, tan fresco, alegre y nostalgico como el primero, con esas canciones tan especiales que su voz interpreta con esa gracia y facilidad como solo una gran cantante de jazz lo puede hacer; temas tan prendidos como LOVER MAN, AIN'T WE GOT FUN y STARS FELL ON ALABAMA (con ese toque con sabor a vinilo viejo de los 20's), las bellas baladas como WHEN I FALL IN LOVE y SKYLARK, y encontrarnos con el puro "charleston" de MY BABY JUST CARES FOR ME; Renee, eres una digna estrella del jazz, te has ganado un puesto entre las grandes!!Free Music Review: What an amazing voice.....

I have always enjoyed seeing Renee Olstead on TV (Still Standing) and movies (13 Going on 30) --- but her voice when she sings is just amazing. This is the second CD that I have of hers - her voice was extremely mature on the previous CD but now it is even more so. She has such maturity of voice and the feeling that comes through is tremendous.... I would recommend her recordings to everyone. You just have to forget the fact that she is so young and just enjoy her talent!Free Music Review: Worth the Wait

I can listen to this girl over and over. Musical arrangements are incredible and suit her style completely making the whole experience wonderful. Love the updated 'hit the road jack' and 'ain't we got fun'. The intro to the 'stars fell on alabama' just entertains and draws you into the song. 'Thanks for the Boogie Ride', just to fun! Turn your repeat on and listen over and over.
What more can I say, except don't make us wait so long for her next CD.

The beautiful voice we expect. Renee gets credit for writing some of these songs.
Many songs are named "Hold Me Now," but her's is special. I think it's the gem of the collection. I like the dream/fantasy feel of "Stars Fell on Alabama," and "Midnight in Austin Texas" is just plain fun.
This CD is mostly romance, and won't let her come through with the power we know her voice has, but it shows variety in her talent.
