Free Music Notes for SkylarkFree Music Review: Voice Of An Angel Hit: 5 Stars
I'm so happy to have had the privilege to listen to one of the finest female vocalists of our time. I only wish Renee Olstead would turn out albums more frequently because I never tire of listening to her angelic voice. She is just flat out gifted beyond description and her producer is the best. This wonderful young lady can take a standard and make it hers and hers alone.
PS
Renee please come to Seattle!!!
Free Music Review: magical voice Hit: 5 Stars
Renee has such a beautiful voice. I love her song selections. Her albums may not be the most commercially viable, but they comprise a wonderful catalog of music. You just do not expect the little girl from the TV show Still Standing to have this powerful voice. I own other albums by Renee Olstead and this is right in line with my past experience with her music - truly enjoyable. Definitely a must-have in my book.
Free Music Review: Renee is one of our Best Jazz Singer Hit: 5 Stars
Renee Olstead is one, if not the best, current Jazz singer, not just because she is only nineteen years old, but irregardless of age. With her magnificent voice, she has the stunning natural ability to connect her music to the audience/listener. Everytime I listen to her CD, I feel that I am part of the music experience and not just listening to it. I hope she makes more CD's, an excellent singer.
Free Music Review: Renee is unbelievably talented Hit: 5 Stars
I bought this album after listening to only a couple of songs and absolutely love it. She is such a great talent and can sing a variety of songs from blues, jazz, ballads, show tunes, big band music, you name it. She is as good as some major celebrities and I'm wondering why someone isn't promoting her to the top. She could do it all. And a duo with Michael Buble would be outstanding.
Free Music Review: This chick really swings Hit: 5 Stars
Renee really blows the doors off with this album. She's right up there with June Christy,Ella, or Billie. And the musicians in the her band could've easily played with Kenton, Basie, Herman or Goodman. It's too bad you can't find a radio station that plays this kind of music, so cop a copy of this album, put it in your car radio, turn it way up, and pull the knobs off the dial.
