Free Music Review: dissapointed
Hit: 2 Stars

I was dissapointed with this newest album. The lyrics in a lot of the songs are lacking like they were turned out fast. It just isn't fresh or even interesting as if it was sort of thrown together to get it done. I think Rhonda Vincent and the band have way more talent then what came through on this album.

Rhonda Vincent is my favorite female bluegrass artist. This album showcases her talent in other genre. I love this album.

Free Music Review: Mandolins and Sequins
Hit: 5 Stars

This was the first Rhonda Vincent CD I bought after hearing a few people talking about it in a live-music venue one night. Well, sometimes bar-room banter is right on target, especially when the people talking up the artist are musicians themselves. The music on this CD is deeply-rooted in bluegrass sounds but doesn't dwell in the past familiar patterns or lyrics. Rhonda Vincent has a modern Americana sound that could put her on any country radio station in the U.S. with a vitality and soulful delivery of her lyrics and emotions. Her duets with Keith Urban (The Water is Wide) and Russell Moore (I Give All My Love to You) are outstanding examples of the respect her talent has earned with some of her peers. "Good Thing Going" is definitely that -- and more....

Free Music Review: RHONDA HAS NICE SKIN - SHE SURE SHOWS IT OFF
Hit: 4 Stars

Nope, haven't heard this CD. Nope, don't plan on buying it. But I won;t give it a bad review either cause that's not fair. I just want to know one thing. Why has Rhonda taken to showing so much skin on the covers of her last several CD releases? Is it just to show off her nice tan and smooth skin, or is it to lure male customers into buying her CDs?
Did Jimi Hendrix have covers showing his hairy chest or bulging muscles?
Has Eric Clapton ever done the same? How about Bill Monroe? Ralph Stanley? Flat and Scruggs? Ricky Skaggs? What's the deal here?
Sex and mandolins?
