Whoa... I thought Ritchie Kotzen was a run of the mill hair metal guitarist, all flash no substance. How wrong can you be?
This album is awesome. Here you get great songs (every one) with excelent instrumentation. Ritchie's vocals are outstanding, and his guitar playing is "for the song", concise and to the point. Still plenty of great guitar but without the self indulgence. The style is sort of 70s Funk Rock. This is the album that Lenny Kravitz dreams about making. All I can say JUST BUY IT. Now I have to go and check out his other stuff.
