Highly recommend - Rick is a traditional (well almost) Christmas singer on this lovely cd, not the rock n roll Rick you might expect. It's not a singer's proverbial - have to cut an xmas album - it's introspective, beautiful, soulful and sweet versions of traditional carols. His own song he wrote for the cd "Christmas With You" is gorgeous. I just play it over and over and over and I love it. Great holiday stocking stuffer too. You won't be sorry and you surely don't have to be a Rick fan to appreciate and enjoy this mellow music. Well done, 5 star and all cheers!Free Music Review: More than pleasantly surprised

I recently received my copy in the mail, and was more than pleasantly surprised by the quality of this CD. I really enjoyed the fact that it has an acoustic feel to it -- it made the quality much better being able to really hear Rick's voice shine through. It was soulful, mellow and soothing -- everything I would expect from a Christmas CD. If you're thinking of brushing this CD off because it's Rick Springfield, think again. Most people don't know that all the proceeds of Christmas With You went to the families of fallen troops here in the USA. What an amazing jesture by the greatest Rocker ever, Rick Springfield. There are numerous hits on here, not just Christmas hits but they should have been played on the radio all the time and gotten the respect they deserved! Love this CD!! Rick's singing is so heartfelt, and this is just a joy to listen to. Nice selection of songs. Some on here are complaining of the "raspiness" in his voice, but actually, it sounds pretty darn sexy ! Been a fan for many years, and I'm glad Rick finally got around to doing a Christmas CD. I have been a Rick Springfield fan for 25 years and quickly grab up anything new he puts out. I am so glad he finally recorded a Christmas CD because now this is all I will listen to during the holiday season. I can't get enough of his raspy, sexy voice and especially love the title track, Christmas With You. Thanks Rick for making this die hard fan very happy!!
