I am a HUGE fan of all of Rick's work since "Working Class Dog." He is such a talented artist and a smokin' performer (I just saw him perform in Indiana). I don't understand why I have not heard the first song on the radio (What's Victoria's Secret); it is very "pop". The second and third songs (I'll Miss That Someday and Venus in Overdrive) are rock. The album has a lot of variety of music. Oh and I have to mention "Oblivious" and "She." A must buy in my mind... I love it!!!!Free Music Review: Venus In Overdrive

Venus In Overdrive is an excellent cd. I like all the songs especially "What's Victoria's Secret?" but they all rock. Sahara would love her song. It was written with so much apparent love and respect. Rick is a great guy and deserves everything wonderful. Matt (his bassist and cowriter) is exceptional and such a sweetheart. Rick's whole band is fantastic and I wish them all the success in the world.

If you are a fan of Rick Springfield, this CD is a must for your musical collection. I've really enjoyed listening to his music evolve over the years. "Karma" was my favorite, but I think that it has now been beaten. Every track on "Venus In Overdrive" is fantastic and sung from the heart. I love the passion in his voice on the song "She". Outstanding job Rick!!!! You continue to amaze me, and I'm so glad that you are still making music that we can all enjoy!!!Free Music Review: Venus In Overdrive....A must buy

This CD is brilliant. Another must buy from Rick. I have been a huge fan and have purchased all of his music. Just when you think he may be done, he does it again. I just received my CD today and love it! I expected nothing less from him. He is a brilliant and creative song writer. These songs are a great reflection of his talent. I encourage anyone who has any doubts to buy this CD. Thanks to Rick for sharing his music with everyone! He still has it! Enjoy!Free Music Review: A great introduction for new fans!

One thing that sticks out to me, besides the great songs of course, is the vocal performance. My personal opinion is that he struggled a bit on his last 2 CDs (Day After Yesterday & Christmas With You) but he is brillant here. Clear, crisp and powerful. Makes it even that much better. I can't recommened this CD enough. Venus in Overdrive and God Blinked (Swing it Sister) are my personal favs. Not too far behing are Victoria's Secret and 3 Warning Shots.
