I've been a fan of Rick's since Working Class Dog, and this recording is a pleasant surprise. It's the great voice of Rick Springfield coupled with some great modern songs. It's easy to compare some of the songs to modern groups including The Fray and Coldplay. (Track #4 is Coldplay all the way.) I don't know how this will sell, but I think it should definitely land Rick Springfield back on the charts.Free Music Review: the secret of Rick

Ricks' not so secret secret is that the man has talent and a way of presenting a great hook. "what's victorias' secret?" is unique in that it sounds like it could have been the followup to "jessies girl" yet sounds totally today - that is his secret - most of his music is like that - not dated". he is in great voice throughout and the songs are all solid. a welcome release from a working class dog.Free Music Review: Rick does it again!

Rick is totally amazing in his writing and singing of the new songs on this wonderful cd! He does it again with his totally awesome performance of Venus in Overdrive! With fans of all ages and all over the world, this will truly be something everyone will have to buy. Don't be disappointed by not buying, as he is truly "Rick and Roll"... Love ya Rick!

I have not stopped listening to this cd yet. I have seen him live 3 times and are looking forward to seeing again in October because of this cd. All of the songs are great. I love Oblivious, this song touches a heartstring everytime and is so true about how everyone feels when they loose someone close to them. The entire cd has me hooked on Rick all over Music Review: I am still smiling!Hit: 5 Stars I just received this yesterday and played it on the way in to work this morning. From the first note, I just smiled. The sound on this new cd took me back 20 or so years ago when I was a new fan. As a seasoned fan now, I think this current music is just fantastic. I would say this is Rick's best since the days of "Jessie's Girl." I look forward to my drive home today.
