Free Music Notes for Liverpool 8Free Music Review: I love Liverpool too! Hit: 4 Stars
The title song is worth the price of the album. Being a Beatlemaniac, I found the song very sentimental because it reviews Ringo's life. I also had the extreme privilege recently of seeing Ringo perform Liverpool 8 live at his All Staar concert in Radio City. This was one of my greatest experiences besides seeing the Beatles at Shea Stadium back in the day. At least at Radio City I could hear every word (unlike Shea where all we heard were the fans screaming). Ringo puts on a very professional and entertaining show and he sure knows how to pick his All Staars. After being at his concert I certainly had the urge to buy the Liverpool 8 CD and when I went online I was stunned to see the numerous albums Ringo has made since the Beatles broke up. My Ringo has been very busy! He also has a great website. From what I saw at his concert, he still certainly appeals to young and old. Looked like some of the boomers had their grandkids there and they were all having a fab time.
Free Music Review: Ringo is On! Hit: 4 Stars
After we lost John and George, we saw (or heard) very good albuns from Paul, but year after year, he is putting the good rock'n'roll back and writing soft songs (Still a genius, indeed!). Ringo, in his last three albuns (Vertical Man, Choose Love and Ringo Rama) began to really rock! Those 3 albuns are essentials for those who love R'N'R. Now, with "Liverpool 8", he came more lighter, but it is a good album, one of those you put to play with rejoice. TAKE CARE: The title song is contagious!
Free Music Review: Best from Ringo in 35 Years! Hit: 4 Stars
Liverpool 8 is the best album from Ringo in 35 years! The tunes are catchy, cosmic and touching. This CD is reminiscent of some of the classic Beatles albums. My 7 year old has been dancing around the room every morning while I'm rocking the house with Liverpool 8. This CD is a must have for every Ringo/Beatles fan. It's not The Beatles but it is great Ringo!
Free Music Review: Good Stuff That Grows On You Hit: 4 Stars
How many times have you first listened to a cd and not liked it that much? That's the way I felt about this one only to start liking it after additional plays. It's not a blockbuster by any means, but there are some really good cuts. If you're any kind of Beatle fan you should pick this up. Casual fans will probably find it a little boring.
Free Music Review: Liverpool Hit: 4 Stars
At first this offering from RINGO seemed overly tame compared with the rockeir cuts on Ringo Rama, the last CD CHOOSE lOVE wasn't much of anything, but it has a warth and catchiness that sneeks up on you. Still could of used a little more punch but does jab ya. Joe DelVecchio
