Free Music Notes for Rob Thomas: Something to BeFree Music Review: Simply The BEST Hit: 5 Stars
As a huge MB20 fan, I anxiously awaited Rob's solo release, and I have been completely blown away. I love the mix of styles in this music, and honestly, can't find even one song that I DON'T just love.
My favorite is "Falling to Pieces". Such a unique song with a rock-blues feel. But, there are so many others that I love as well. In fact, I love this entire CD.
Rob NEVER disappoints...this CD is the best I've heard in a VERY long time.
Free Music Review: Solo Rob SOARS!! Hit: 5 Stars
Matchbox Twenty rocks and I adore them. It's very hard to NOT like anything they do, which therefore, includes Rob Thomas solo.
From the catchy, rock beats to the soulful, beautiful ballads-- this album simply rocks! I've literally been wearing out this CD like mad, and will probably purchase another one soon. ;) Truthfully, I am more obsessed with Rob Thomas than ever before (and LOVE the hair, or lack of!).
Free Music Review: Terrific! Hit: 5 Stars
What a great solo effort! And fun! Why should it sound just like he was recording with the band? That would be an insult to them. Anyone that criticizes this effort and compares it to 'Bryan Adams' or the like just doesn't understand creativity. What a shame. In my opinion, Rob Thomas is the best songwriter writing music right now, and being this versatile makes him even better than I thought. I love every minute of it!
Free Music Review: RE: "Let me qualify that" by Bill Mydo Hit: 5 Stars
Ok, just HOW someone can rate an album lower because he read the label incorrectly, seeing that the first name of the artist is "ROB" and not looking intelligently at the last name is beyond me. Why is this rating even on here? Someone writing a review needs to display a certain level of intelligence, and this guy is punishing the artist because of his own stupidity. Read the label! It's ROB THOMAS, not ROB LOWE!
Free Music Review: Very Diversified Hit: 5 Stars
I am a huge fan of MB20, and when I discovered that Rob Thomas' solo album finally came out, I was excited! I recently listened to it, and I was blown away! This album has such a unique sound. It ranges from pop to soul to the usual MB20 sound. This album is definitely for someone who likes a little bit of everything when it comes to music. Also, no MB20 fan should be without it even though Rob Thomas is flying solo.
