I've read some reviews in which people seem to have issues with the eclectic sounds on Rob's CD, but I find that the best part. Why does an artist really have to have a "sound" and stick with it? If you can do it all well, then please, do it all. Rob is so talented in so many different aspects, and they all shine through on this CD. I do love Matchbox Twenty, but I'm starting to love Rob on his own just as much.Free Music Review: Great CD...

Dispite what I've seen people say about this CD I would definately suggest this to anyone who enjoys the music of Matchbox Twenty... I bought this with my own money (which I don't do very often) and would do it again given the opportunity even after seeing what people have said... This is currently one of my favorite CDs in my collection... If you don't buy this then you are missing out on a great CD...Free Music Review: Something to listen to

I have been waiting for this to come out for some time. It was clear that Rob had much more to offer than that which was shown through Matchbox. This album is exatly what we needed at this time in music as everythign is bland, boring, and washed out. Everything sounds the same. This album, on the other hand, is a bit of a mixed bag, but it provides the listener with something fresh track after track.Free Music Review: All I can say is WOW!!

All I can say is WOW!! What a great cd! I can't get enough of it. I bought this cd when it was first released and have been listening to it every day-either in my car,at home or work.I love all the songs. Each one is a new surprise.
I had no idea who Rob Thomas was when I bought this cd and decided to take a chance and am I ever glad I did. I will be looking forward to future releases.

Something to be is the first solo cd from the ever talented Rob Thomas. The songs on this cd are a great mix of sounds and lyrics that can make you want to get up and shake it or just sit and relax with a glass of wine. This cd is fun and poetic. There's definitely something for everyone on this cd, and I would highly recommend you give it a listen! You will not be dissappointed.
