Free Music Review: A *Best of* for the Superbeast!

What can one say about Rob Zombie?! The "Devilman" so to speak of metal. This "Best of" holds a pretty good amount of his work, but seems to lack in the White Zombie department. Tracks missing which in my eyes should have been on here go as following: Electric Head Part 2(The Ecstasy), Grease Paint and Monkey Brains, I Zombie, Children of the Grave(Black Sabbath Cover), I am Hell (on Beavis and Butt-Head Experience Album), Meet the Creeper, Dragula (Hot Rod Herman Remix), Iron Head, Scum of the Earth, and House of 1000 Corpses. (I'm sure that there are many that would disagree with some of these, but hey most of these have been on the radio) Sure I know I'm asking for a second disc of music, but who wouldn't agree? Also White Zombie also have those old demos and stuff out there, how about releasing that music once more? But Based on whats on this *best of* I'm pretty pleased. The Video's Ruled majorly and I'm sure many are buying this *best of* for the video disc. Here's my review of the tracks (i'll only rate songs I deem somewhat new): (DISC ONE *MUSIC*) 1. Thunder Kiss '65 - The song that no one could forget. 2. Black Sunshine - Oh Yeah, Without a doubt this one rocked. 3. Feed the Gods -This Song is from the Soundtrack "AirHeads". Anyways the track ok, not super but cool. Sort of simple for White Zombie. ... 80% 4. More Human than Human - Like This could be a *best of* without it! 5. Super Charger Heaven - One o my Favorite Songs by White Zombie. If you don't believe me, Check out my nickname. 6. I'm your Boogie man- From the Crow:City of Angels soundtrack. Very Cool Song! ....95% 7. Hands of Death (Burn Baby Burn) - From the Key of x-files album. THis track has Alice Cooper as support vocals. Cool spooky track. ... 90% 8. The Great American Nightmare - From The Howard Stern soundtrack and has Howard Stern in it. Never been a big fan of this song. ... 75% 9. Dragula - Perhaps Rob Zombies biggest hit. 10. Living Dead Girl - Another sure thing track. 11. Superbeast - Yeah this one rocks! 12. Feel so Numb - Yeah another hit. 13. Never Gonna Stop (the Red Red Kroovy) - Never been a big fan of this song, but yeah it gets lots of airplay. 14. Demon Speeding -Cool he included this one! 15. Brick House 2003 - From the House of 1000 corpses soundtrack. I don't care for the track or the guests. I'm not a rap fan. .. 50% 16. P**** Liquor- From the House of 1000 corpses soundtrack. Its ok, got a decent groove to it. .. 85% 17. Blitzrieg Bop - Ramones cover. Its a cool track. ....90% 18. Two-Lane Blacktop - (Previously Unreleased track) A track that fitted on the Sinister Urge album. It's not bad if you like "Never Gonna Stop" or "California". It works ... 90% 19. Girl on Fire -(Previously Unreleased track) Its also stuck on the the 2 tracks on The Sinister Urge album. The problem is this song lacks energy. Sounds lack-luster. ...85% (DISC TWO *VIDEO*) 1. Thunder Kiss '65 - Cool video... 90% 2. More Human than Human - Well one of the best songs ever, also is going to have a great video! ... 95% 3. Dragula - Rob Zombie's Solo Video sure was killer! .. 95% 4. Living Dead Girl - I found this video a tad boring, ... 85% 5. Superbeast - This video will blow your lights out of your Eyes! Flashy! .. 95% 6. Never Gonna Stop (the Red Red Kroovy) - This video Like the songdoesn't thrill me. ... 85% 7. Feel so Numb - Not the best video in the world but decent. 90% 8. Demonoid Phenomenon - (Previously Unreleased Video) A Video of showing them play live. The set they had during 1999 Ozzfest was in the video with the 666 Light thing. ...85% 9. Return of the Phantom Stranger -(Previously Unreleased Video) Not a big fan of the song, but the video was cool. .. 90% 10. Spookshow Baby- (Previously Unreleased Video) Cool Video but there are sound problems with the audio of the track. Odd? ... 85%
