Free Music Review: This is one "best of" compilation worth buying

I've always loved Rob Zombie's unique brand of metal/electro rock. Past, Present, And Future is basically an overview of his music career. It's a "best of" compilation...but not only does it excel at including his truly best and well known songs, but it also includes 2 entirely new tracks and a few rare works as well. Every track that has had a video or frequent radio play is on here, from Thunder Kiss '65 to Feel So Numb. As if that weren't enough, a bonus DVD is also included with 10 of Rob's videos. That alone makes the album worth buying, even if you own all of his previous releases. One thing bothers me though...the two new tracks at the end of the album, while decent, sound almost too alternative rock for Rob's style. Hopefully they are just an experiment and not an indication of how his next album will sound (I've already been sorely disappointed with Powerman 5000's watered down new sound). No worries for now though...Past, Present, And Future packs plenty of power rock to satisfy his old and new fans alike. Definitely buy it, even if it's just for the DVD and anthology booklet.
