Free Music Notes for The FuturistFree Music Review: The Futurist Hit: 5 Stars
The first time I heard "Man like me" sung by Robert Downey Jr.on the album The Futurist, I was instantly entranced and captivated by the simple elegance of the song and the touching lyrics. The album is not released in the UK as yet so I had source it through the US.
This is one of my favourite night albums and has a very easy and pleasing quality to sooth my worst days.
Good job Mr D. I am a firm fan.
Free Music Review: AMAZING!!!! BUY THIS ALBUM Hit: 5 Stars
When I came across this album, I thought it would not be great. I mean, another actor recording an album; can't be that good. I was so wrong! I have always been a HUGE fan of Robert Downey Jr from the beginning. When I heard the first song "Man Like Me" I was hooked! It captivated me and I could not stop listening! From beginning to end I was enthralled and awed! I really hope another album is in the works!
Free Music Review: Robert is a natural singing/songwriting talent...! Hit: 5 Stars
Gheesh...I have only listended to samples (here) and guess what? I can hear this mans passion and natural vocal talent. Robert makes so much more sense to me now. Trust me on this. I am a songwriter too and well, there is an undeniable thing that is present in a natural talent with something to say. He has it. Listen now...you won't be sorry. I am ordering as we speak.
love, Christene LeDoux
Free Music Review: Just Want More... Hit: 5 Stars
I also discovered RDJ's music through the movie Kiss, Kiss, Bang, Bang (which is a hoot - loved the chemistry between RDJ and Val Kilmer!), and I heard "Broken" play with the ending credits - how beautiful. All I can say is that I am waiting for more music from RDJ. I think his voice is unique and personal, and the songs he wrote are wonderful...I play this CD over and over again.
Free Music Review: I've been waiting for this. Hit: 5 Stars
All I can say is how thrilled I am to have this CD. I've always loved RDJR, but when he sang on Ally McBeal, he blew me away. I still have that soundtrack in my car and his songs (one with Sting and an original song) are all I listen to on the disc. He's an amazing vocalist, and his lyrics make me ache for such a full soul. Always a fan, Julie Clark Robinson, author, Live in the Moment.
