Free Music Review: Best rock album...period
Hit: 5 Stars

If heavy blues/rock is your love, incomparable melodies and guitar work, amazing vocals, then this is your album.
All the comparisons to Jimmy Hendrix are a joke. Jimmy was great yes, but he could not carry Robin and Jimmy Dewars microphone.
Robin and Jimmy had a style all their own. Robins guitar skills and melodies are unequaled..period. Dewars singing..superior to Hendrix by far. This is a white man singing soulfully better than a black man..sorry Hendrix!
There is not a weak track on this album. The slower ones are in fact some of my faves "About to begin" leading up to "Lady Love" is by far and away, the best 1-2 punch in the history of Rock.
Its the melodic quiet before a storm, and then the storm comes. You cannot play this music loud enough. But it's music...not Rap..not garbage..but a beautiful blend of melody, lyrics, soul, guitar work and vocals.

Free Music Review: Trower's Classic Gets Remastered Again And Adds Different Bonus Tracks!
Hit: 5 Stars

Released in 1974 the ex-Procol Harum guitarst's solo career was definately heading in the right direction. With "Bridge Of Sighs" his second studio album Trower shows his fretboard abilities more than ever. His Hendrix inspired guitar solos are awe dropping as can be heard on such standout cuts as "Day Of The Eagle", "The Fool And Me", "Lady Love", "Too Rolling Stoned" and "Little Bit Of Sympathy". The eight added bonus tracks from The BBC Sessions which include "Bridge Of Sighs", "In This Place", "Alethea", "Little Bit Of Sympathy" sound very good and add almost thirty four minutes to this gem of a cd. Soundwise, it isn't that much of a drastic improvement from the older 1999 remaster (which also included bonus tracks) but it's miles ahead of the 1990 non-remastered version. If there's one Trower cd you buy, this should be it! A must have for any classic rock lover.

Free Music Review: The quintessential 70's rock album.
Hit: 5 Stars

If you're a fan of 70's guitar-driven rock, you must have this album in your collection. "Day of the Eagle", Little Bit of Sympathy" & "Too Rolling Stoned" are standards of the genre. I'm typically either disappointed or enthralled by Trower's work, but this album goes beyond that. This is one of those iconic rock LP's like Dark Side Of The Moon, Black Sabbath, Tres Hombres or Who's Next that every classic rock fan must have. And the Bonus tracks are just that: "BONUS!"

Free Music Review: The Definitive Robin Trower Album
Hit: 5 Stars

This is the album that pretty much cemented Robin Trower's place in music history. An instant classic. From start to finish every track is a winner and amongst his best-known material that which he still plays in concert to this very day. A must for guitar players and casual listeners alike. Trower is heavily infuenced by Jimi Hendrix for those who don't know and while it is somewhat derivative there is still a great deal of originality here. The vocals are first rate supplied by James Dewar, easily one of the most recognized and respected singers of this genre.
This is a classic hard rock album and one that you won't regret owning.
I've hadthis album on vinyl, on 8 track and now on cd and it never gets old.

Free Music Review: TONE TONE TONE
Hit: 5 Stars

This Album represents a clearly "inspired" and defining moment in Robin's career. As a guitarist myself, this Album has provided me with an inspiration that has lasted for more than 30 years. For Trower fans this particular album maintains an honorary spot on their rack. For those who are checking out Trower for the first time, you have come to the right place. While taking in what is surely some of the most unique and interesting blues based riffery in the history of Rock, take note of the rich, throaty, warmest of guitar "tones" ever to grace a music speaker. A "tone" that has continued and will continue to inspire guitarists to search for that elusive pearl for years to come.
