...where are "War" and "Training Montage" from Rocky IV? Even "Take You Back" could've been thrown in there somewhere. I guess on any "Best Of" collection, there will be some glaring omissions.
Aside from that, it's a great collection (though I could've done without "Can't Stop the Fire"). The remix of "Gonna Fly Now" is listenable, something that can't be said about a lot of remixes. A definite must for any fan of the Rocky franchise.

The album is less focused on the latest movie, so much as it is a "greatest hits" album of all of the Rocky movie soundtracks. All of the great songs are here (Living in America, Eye of the Tiger, Burning Heart, Hearts on Fire, the Rocky Theme, etc.) I love it and it just makes me love the old movies even more. The 3 6 Mafia track stuck out like a sore thumb and should have been left off, as it is a weak track anyway.Free Music Review: INTERESTING BUT NOTHING NEW

Well I bougth because I wanna have all colection but, the disc has all same songs, just one new, (its a fight from 3 six mafia) and its not good enought. The disc is missing very good songs like Mesurement of men (from Rocky V), War & training in the montange (From Rocky IV).
I recomended if you don't have the others, insert some comments from the movies was good point

Overall, this is a good collection of songs and themes from the Rocky films. My one criticism is that there a bit too many (approximately three) rehash versions of Bill Conti's "Gonna Fly Now" (the original Rocky theme song) on the tape. There are other music themes from the Rocky films that could have been included in their place....Free Music Review: Awesome Music!!!

If you love the Rocky series, and the music, you'll definitely enjoy this CD! It has classics like 'Gonna Fly Now' and 'Eye of the Tiger' It also has the gangsta' rap song 'It's a Fight' by the Three 6 Mafia! I highly recommend THE BEST OF ROCKY!!!
