Free Music Notes for Rocky Horror Picture Show (Dlx)Free Music Review: "Why don't I show you around? I could play you a sound." Hit: 5 Stars
For those of you who haven't seen Rocky Horror and heard the songs I will try and put this as simply as possible: BUY THIS CD! Track 1 is an amazing slow but spookey track about science fiction movies. Track 2 is a humourous love song ((and a favorite of mine)). Track 4 is the famous dance song that made Rocky Horror famous. Track 5 is a disturbing but entertaining and a little humerous song about a...well you know. Track 6 is a entertaining fast paced song sung by the monster from the movie. Track 8 is one of my favorites, it is Meatlof singing about how he longs for the old days of Rock n Roll....there are no words to describe it. Track 11 is a favorite of mine...it has Susan Sharadon singing about her transition from girl next store..to home run Janet. Track 12 is most of the cast singing about Meatlof's deceased character in the humor/tragic song with a good beat. Track 13 is a nice sleezey song about "rose tinting your world to keep you safe from the trouble and pain". Track 15 is a nice fast paced song that Little Richard himself could have done. And those are just the highlights! You don't have to be an obsessed fan to enjoy this CD....it also includes lyrics and dialouge from the movie prefacing each song.
Free Music Review: For those who love the Rocky Horror Picture Show, Hit: 5 Stars
There are a couple of different soundtrack cds out there. In addition to this one, there is one with different mixes of Time Warp, including one without words for kareoke use. The movie is fun, the Broadway show is fun (so I have heard) and the cds are fun. Obviously, the best way to enjoy these songs is to watch the movie and dance or sing along. But, when you are in your car or otherwise unable to get enough, this cd gives you your fix. There is no point reviewing this cd song by song since anyone who will want this cd is already in love with the movie and while listening is picturing the correspoding scene in the movie. for example, as great at "Time Warp" is, can you imagine just listening without picturing the great choreography and Jenet fainting? Or, can you possibly be moved by the emotional song "Going Home" without picturing it in it's context in the movie? Hmmmmm, these songs are so great you can't help but to love them!!! OK, I take it back .. the uninitiated will love this cd (or the other soundtrack cd) too.
Free Music Review: Wonderful!! Hit: 5 Stars
First of all, I adore this movie, so I'm a bit partial to the soundtrack. The songs are all catchy, rock-opera sounding, and have witty and interesting lyrics-definitely different from your regular broadway play.. The only thing I have a beef with is that there is too much talking from the movie on the tracks-I want just the songs. But otherwise, it is a classic soundtrack that fits right in with this cult classic film!
Free Music Review: RHPS Hit: 5 Stars
I just saw this movie for the first time this weekend and I loved it so much that I ran (literally) to get the cd. The music from this movie is so funny and catchy - tune wise. "Sweet Transvestite" has to be one of the best songs - I found myself humming it at work. And there is the "Time Warp" of course! This collection is a must-have for RHPS fans alike.
Free Music Review: Science Fiction, Double 5 Stars
"It's do dreamy, oh fantasy free me...." This is an awesome collection of the songs from the 1975 classic film, Thr Rocky Horror Picture Show. Not only does this include songs but also key bits of dialouge from the film as well as the complete lyrica and lots of color photos. YOU MUST OWN THIS IF YOU LIKE THE ROCKY HORROR PICTURE
