Free Music Review: It's Just...Too Tough

I'd like to make special mention of two cuts: 'Too Much Blood'--although it's a wee bit disco-cheezbally, it's really worth it for one of Mick's hilarious ad-libs at the end of the song.... where he starts babbling about 'Texas Chainsaw Massacre' among other things....and the reggae extravaganza 'Feel On Baby.' The Stones had been trying to do a reggae song on almost every album since 1975, and here they finally get it right with this haunted dub-rocker. Back in the long lost days of vinyl I even bought the extended 12" of this cut so I could really 'dub out'. Got to FEEL ON.....

So if you can handle later-era Stones, and if, like me, the glitzy overproduction of 'Tattoo You' kinda sorta turned you off, check out this rootsy rocking gem! ; ) .
