Most "world" music leaves me kind of cold, but this stuff is great. It's nice and tight, kind of weird and extremely danceable/hummable. I'm going around all day singing, "Nunca... pero nunca..." I wouldn't really call the style "psychedelic", but it does have that twangy guitar and funky organ thing. I play this in my car and my 8 month old is LOVING IT. Free Music Review: Dancerific! Really fun rhythmically for dancing (or reasonable facsimile thereof), plus sonically interesting, and some funny lyrics to chant and giggle. Surf guitar with big reverb, polyrhythmic with multiple percussion, the environment which produced this music was amazingly fertile. eastern Peruvian wild west amazon mining town jump up music. Very fun!
