As a devoted long-time fan of Rory Gallagher, I was delighted at the release of this excellent 2-disc set. The live performances are particularly notable, as Rory was always at his best when performing live. The cuts range from classic originals to excellent cover versions of blues standards. If you (like me) can't get enough live Rory Gallagher, this is great. Right up there with Irish Tour '74 and Live in Europe. Some new songs to me and some great versions of Rory songs I am familiar with from other albums.
If you know Rory's work, this makes a great addition. If you are new to Rory, this is a great place to start.
Check out his Live at The Montreax Jazz Festival DVD. The original grunge-rocker !

It really is a fantastic album, it captures everything about the man that i love. The honesty, the integrity. It is raw and unrelenting and it will just blow you away. What more can i say ?
