Rory was an amazing guitarist/singer/writer. He plays all styles and leaves a lot of his contemporaries in the dust. Get this album. Also get 'Against the Grain' and 'Deuce' and you'll be all set. 'Walk on Hot Coals' is the highlight of this disc. Great band,too.Free Music Review: A good buy!

If you are thinking of buying only one Rory Gallagher album, this has to be at the forefront of consideration. This is a terrific live recording of a much under rated artist whose life was cut short by abuse like so many. I would recommend this and Live At Montreux for any fan of Rory and just good blues based rock!!!Free Music Review: Energy!

I don't think that I have ever heard a performance that has more energy that this Classic Gallagher collection ... loved it when it was released ... love it today. Play it LOUD. Check out the DVD too.
