This dvd and cd (I have both) are definitely collectibles. Roy is singing with and for his peers, other singers and entertainers. James Burton on lead guitar, with Jennifer Warnes, k. d. lang and the one and only Bonnie Raitt singing backup, along with Jackson Browne, Elvis Costello, J. D. Souther, T. Bone Burnett, and Bruce Springsteen singing backup and playing in the band ... for a music fan, this is close to the perfect recorded concert. For Roy's fans, it is one of the few live concerts still available commercially. What an evening!Free Music Review: Roy Rocks

I am a 57 year old man who loves a wide range of music from classic rock to blue grass and even some symphony compilations. I can honestly say that when I first listened to, and watched, Roy Orbison perfoming on stage with all of these other excellent performers I was amazed by Roy's voice and the interaction between him and all the others. Since then I have watched it several times and it will continue to be an alblum that I will never grow tired of. I've seen this "Black and White Night" concert a couple of times on PBS, and it always entertained. I next bought the DVD. Then I wanted it for my car CD player. I'm enjoying it now almost every day in the car for quite awhile now. Not only was his voice as good or better than ever, but the band was fantastic--especially James Burton's guitar work. My husband and I play the DVD every week and sing and dance to the music. It's great fun and the next best thing to being at the concert live. What a hoot to see Bruce Springsteen and Bonnie Raitt in their youth playing and singing with the great Roy Orbison. It is a treasure not only to hear the music, but to see it on our 50" screen. Zero? I think you may be referring to another cd because I just bought the Black and White Night cd and it sounds really damn good. Actually it is one of the best live recordings I have heard from an old rock in roll legend. Roy's voice sounds very pure on this disk and the other musicians make the album even better. A must have for any rock n roll fan, esp. rockabilly.
