I've seen this band twice live and they are amazing. This CD is a great introduction to their music which beautifully fuses traditional scottish instruments like the bagpipes with cuban rhythmes. You can't sit still. Free Music Review: Hot Salsa

This is a very good Salsa album, but any Celtic influences are barely noticable with the exception of a bagpipe lick here and there. Very Cuban in flavor with hot, driving rhythms. (And I know they're not singing in Gaelic.)
