I really enjoyed this CD. I also enjoyed his previous one, although I do admit it took a few listenings to really appreciate Living It Up. It was a bit different from what we were used to from Sammy. Different does not mean bad.
This albumn really does rock. Cosmic Universal Fashion is really an excellent tune and I whole heartedly agree with the previous review on the Beastie Boys cover. MUCH better.
The song that completely sticks out for me is the tune LOUD. This is an AMAZING song. I could not beleive how awesome it was. First listen and It immediately jumped out to me as , this being one of the top 5 or top 10 best songs EVER by the Sam Man.
It SHOULD be an instant classic. I HOPE it will get the credit it deserves.
Can't wait for the Chicken Foot project.

Free Music Review: Better than the last one

Years ago when Van Hagar reunited I was mad that Sam said they should just release music digitally. I had hoped that they could reconcile and put out more music as Van Halen. That didn't happen but I am glad Sammy changed his mind about putting out music on discs. I am an old school music buyer who would rather have a shiny new case and artwork in my hands. That said, I find this CD to be very enjoyable and rocking. This is more the sound I enjoy from Sammy and I think his version of Fight For Your Right is much more listenable than the original. This is a CD that left me wanting more so I can't wait for the Chicken Foot release...or whatever they decide to call themselves.Free Music Review: I'd have sex with you 5 Stars
Fans, listen up. When Sammy sings we listen! Does anyone have a question? I loved "Livin It Up", you have to have the Cabo life style in mind when you enjoy that CD. I did exactly what my main man Sammy told me to do, I went there once, now I've been there twice....I'm sure to be there again.Regarding this CD, it's great...I love the music and passion Sammy hands us, are you ready? You will be tapping your toe, and snapping your gum baby....Happy New Year

Free Music Review: Sammy continues to kick ass

Cosmic Universal Fashion is in my opinion a really good album.I dont get all the bad reviews.It has some truly noteworthy songs and some are really good kick ass rockers! I liked it better than Livin it Up its more of a return to form for Sammy.
I really loved Ten 13 and Red Voodoo even Not 4 Sale was pretty damn good.This one is right up there i would say.

This cd rocks! Plain and simple good ole' hard rock'n roll. His vocals are superb. I would suggest giving it a shot. Every time Hagar comes out with a new release it leaves me wanting more. (I wish there were more songs to this. I thought the song "Open" should have been put on this cd also).
