If your going to call this "The Essential Red Collection", then why not make it a double or triple CD worth of Sammy's whole career? I'm sure somewhere down the road, there will be an anthology collection released with many of the same songs recorded here. I gave this CD a passing grade, on the strength of the 2 "unreleased & the 3 motion picture soundtracks". Until that time when a larger version of Sammy's career is released, pick this up, crank it up, and enjoy.
