Covering his days in montrose to his marching to mars album, this is probably the best collections you can get of Sammy's body of work. Although it lack one of my favorite little songs, three lock box, it covers everything else, including a couple of soundtrack songs (heavy metal and fast times at ridgemont high). It even includes the song rick springfield covered, "I've done everything for you", done in original sammy style of course. GReat collection for a Sammy fan, also complements the Van Halen collection as well. I have my unboxed greatest hits as well, I'll listen to it for three lock box. I won this CD off the radio, but was planning on buying it - and it is worth the price, even though I have all of Sammy's CDs. There are two new tracks. If you're an old Sammy fan, you'll recognize the demo of "Rock and Roll Romeo" on this CD, which has a different title and lyrics. What I love about the CD is it takes you from the beginning to the present, and it also includes all the songs previously just on soundstracks such as "Girl Gets Around", "Fast Times" and "Over The Top". I'm not a big fan of Sammy Hagar. I was looking for a couple of his songs and I ordered this compilation. Most of the songs on this compilation I never heard before. Sammy Hagar is a brilliant guitarist and singer and he was fantastic with Van Halen. I thoroughly enjoyed this CD and every song is a gem. I enjoyed this CD so much that I downloaded the entire CD onto my iPod. This is a brilliant collection of Sammy Hagar songs and I would highly recommend this compilation.Free Music Review: Good Collection of Songs...

I've got his other greatest hits & was happy to see that this one wasn't going to be 80% or more of the last one with recent hits. Only 2 songs from his previous (I've Done Everything & Bad Motor Scooter). Of course, with that being said, I wish Cruisin' & Boozin' was one of the 2 (maybe a live version?). Most guys don't have this many hits in their entire career. He's got 2 full albums, plus his VH stuff... & more records to come.Free Music Review: Sammy Hagar at his best.

Great rock collection by truly one of the best singers in history. I would have put one of my favorite songs called Rock Candy on this cd as well which is the only thing missing. If your a real Sammy Hagar fan you should check out his band from 1984 called HSAS which they only released one cd before he joined Van Halen the cd is called Through The Fire and it's a great cd from start to finish.
