FINALLY, Sandy is back with her harsh and bitter comedy, along with great renditions of classic songs as well as new ones, as only she can do! Her sharp and quick witted look at the problems of today, and the society we live in is nothing short of REALITY!!! This CD is simply great, and deserves only the highest ratings. I first caught Sandra's "I'm Still Here Dammit" special on HBO a few years back and was impressed by the comedy and musical aspects. This CD does not disappoint either. "On the Runway" is a great song satirizing the fashion industry & celebrity worrship of our culture. The best song however is "God is Good." WOW! Sandra really should invest in a recording a Middle eastern style concept album. Her voice is just amazing. Her cover of "Midnight Train to Georgia" is also done beautifully.Free Music Review: A must have!!

If you are a fan or her, this is an absolute must have. Sandra's one of a kind humor is better than ever in her off off off off Broadway show. I had never been a fan until I saw her most recent performance "Love Machine" at a local casino. I fell in love with her and her humor. It is a great way to hear her older things and compare it with her new. This CD is great, and she puts on a great show. Sandra Bernhard is the sarcasm queen! Her insight into what makes people laugh is absolutely on target. She skewers artists/actors/anyone taking themselves too seriously with outrageously funny remarks and jibes (the bit about Mariah Carrey is classic.) Why she hasn't done more CD's/videos is a mystery. If you hear this disc and don't bust a gut--check your pulse. I laughed my a** off!Free Music Review: pure unadulterated genius

Please if you don't have this cd--mortgage your grandmother's grave plot to get it. Sandra is so blindlingly talented. Funny, caustic, tender, insightful...and she sings. What more do you want people? Sandra is bringing it to you pure and raw. You will be laid to waste. You will not be the same. You will go around pretending to BE Sandra she is just so fabulous.
