I'll admit, I never knew more than a handful of this Latin rocker's tunes growing up, and until he released SMOOTH with R. Thomas, and THE GAME OF LOVE with M. Branch, I never bought a single album. This one, however, has brought me up to date on the Carlos Santana of later years, and for new fans such as myself, it is the perfect compilation of some old and lots of recent hits. I know the original fans of this icon won't appreciate that many of the early hits are missing here, but for a new recruit like me, it includes the well known older songs, plus all the recent ones and is one terrific disc. A fan of Santana, you should get this CD. Ok, it doesn't have some old gems and is heavier on new stuff but it has Black Magic Woman, Oye Como Va, Evil Ways. The you throw in Michelle Branch, Chad Kroeger, Rob Thomas, Tina Turner Steven Tyler and so many others you have one excellent CD. Ultimate, well, maybe not but forget the name, a great CD. This was bought as a Christmas gift so we have not had the opportunity to actually listen to the CD. However, I would like to comment on how fast the entire process was. I am very satisfied with the ordering process!!
Santana is the guitar god of all time....I am sure the CD will be AWESOME!!

I couldn't live without the Shamanic Energy of the Beloved Carlos! It's Great to have old and new favorites on one CD. If Into the Night doesn't make every Firey Goddess get up and dance nothing will. Hearing the Game of Love with the mature throatyness of Tina is a nice change.
