I love this album! I own all of Sarah Brightman's albums and this one is just as good as the others. I did feel the joy and the Christmas spirit when I heard 'Child In A Manger', 'I Believe In Father Christmas', 'When A Child Is Born' and 'War Is Over' - the last track on the Barnes and Noble version of this album. Those are my favorite songs on the album along with 'Arrival' (I can't stop playing this one). All of the songs are beautiful.
I do wish she would have included 'First of May'. It's one of my favorite songs and I always feel the Christmas spirit when I play it. I know it's on the Japanese verson - I may get that one when the price goes down.
I also have to say that all of Sarah's album covers are beautiful but this is the best one yet. She looks stunning on the cover.
Sarah is my favorite singer. It's awesome to have two great new albums from her in one year! Yay.

It is suppose to be fall heading into winter but you wouldn't know it today. No coats mittens or shoes really needed today for me or my 2 year old. I almost waited to get this album because it certainly doesn' feel like a winter symphony here, but I am glad that I did. On it's first spin I love it. I am a big fan of Sarah Brightman and Christmas so I guess this album was for me. I do wish that there was more upbeat tunes on this album, and there is no big vocals here, but her beautiful pop voice is all that is needed to burn up these songs. My favorite thus far is the first song Arrival. I would recommend this album to any Sarah Brightman fan. Two albums in two years....gotta love it!!
I know not alot of people are going to agree with me but after listening to this album many times now I like it almost better than Symphony.

I've been a huge fan of Sarah Brightman for many years. I always buy her cd's as soon as they come out because I've never been disappointed with her new releases. Her Christmas cd, A Winter Symphony, doesn't disappoint and hopefully most fans will agree.
Sarah does a couple of traditional songs in her own unique style and doing Ave Maria, one is a duet, twice is quite refreshing because each has its own distinctive style. I'm sure some will say that several of the songs aren't what one would call Christmas carols but after you listen to them several times they hit a chord of what 'A Winter Symphony' is all about.
This is a season that brings joy, warmth, love but also can be cold, haunting and sad. I like the mixture of old and new and I've been enjoying this cd ever since I got it and hope you do too!
Free Music Review: A LIGHT BEAUTIFUL CHRISTMAS ALBUM

Most of the songs ARE traditional christmas songs. There are even two up-beat Santa songs. A few of the songs are more contemporary and could be on any album (such as "colder than winter" and "I've been this way before").
Sarah has created a christmas album that is NOT suffocating with 100% of serious traditonal Christmas music. It has a nice variety. She tried to please everybody here!
Personally, I dont't think she could have made a better christmas album. Her silent night is the most beautiful version I have ever heard. You could listen to this album in July.........the music is that beautiful ! If you love Sarah's voice, you will love this album! It is very special.
