Free Music Review: Blissful Bittersweet Joy
Hit: 5 Stars

Yesterday as I walked through a store I heard this incredible music pouring through the speakers. My day had been hectic and a bit tiring... before I heard this music all I wanted to do was hurry up and get out of the store and go home. But the music grabbed my attention and made me stop and listen... after the first few tracks I knew I had to have the CD. This kind of music has never appealed to me, operatic instrumentation while powerful and sometimes beautiful often seems so very intense. But this is incredible, breathtaking... I spent the entire evening playing the CD over and over again... some tracks bringing a smile... others touching my heart in unexpected ways... after reading some of the other reviews I see there are Brightman purists who are taken aback and somewhat disappointed that their star has crossed over to appeal to the mainstream... Why not look at it as a way to have more friends to share this fantastic voice with... why is it so hard for much of the public to accept that artists perform to be seen or heard... whatever the case may be... Enjoy what they offer don't fault them for doing what comes natural to them...

Free Music Review: I saw Sarah Brightman in San Jose, CA on September 14, 1999.
Hit: 5 Stars

Sarah's San Jose concert changed me forever as seeing Phantom live did. I cannot think of any artist in history having either the range or the talent of Sarah Brightman. I told a friend after seeing her sing live "I can die now." I also made the comment, "do you know how many people in the world who will live their lives not seeing something like this?" The standouts for me were Nessun Dorma; Anytime, Anywhere; and of course the encore of Time to Say Goodbye. I couldn't believe it when she came back out and sang that! It has special meaning for my husband and I. the night we got engaged, Time to Say Godbye was playing in the background at our favorite Italian restaurant in Carmel Valley, CA. Also, a string quartet at or wedding in Novmber, 1998 played it. Her voice is pure and could only be from heaven. What makes her even more special is that she seems so nice and unassuming. When the crowd applaudes, she appears to actually appreciate it and is amazingly surprised by it. I anxiously await her next work. Laura Wolting, Monterey, California.

Free Music Review: One of the most beautiful CD's I've ever listened to.
Hit: 5 Stars

There comes a time, once maybe every 5 years or so, an artist creates an album where every song is perfectly performed, perfectly sung. To change even the slightest detail...the slightest note, would be the worst thing that could happen to this album. I've listened to this CD over & over and become more impressed with it every time. This album, Sarah Brightman's Eden, is the epitomy of what beautiful music should be. Her voice is flawless, almost angelic. She especially stands out in the album's opening. In Paradisium opens this album with Sarah Brightman beautifully, emotionally, grabbing the heart of the listener from the get-go. It does not let up there! It's a shame this CD had to end, but you can always press play once again! My favorites are Scene D'Amour, Dust in the Wind, Il Lio Cuore, and the title track, Eden. Thank you Sarah Brightman, for showing us what beautiful music is once again!! Don't miss this one! If you have this CD, you already know, if you don't, please don't go another day without hearing it.

Free Music Review: Brava Sarah!
Hit: 5 Stars

While I was never a die hard Sarah Brightman fan outside of her work in the musical theatre, Eden has proven to become that one CD that I simply won't remove from the stereo unless it is to take it in the car with me. What an incredible blend of musical genres - and sometimes within the same song ("Anytime, Anywhere"). Each song evokes such moods into you and every lyric seems to penetrate deep inside you. I especially love the tracks, "Deliver Me," "Nella Fantasia," "Only and Ocean Away," "Nessun Dorma," and of course, the amazing title track, "Eden" with it's haunting tenor and barritone background. The only glitch I found in the entire collection is the over played and over sung song from "Titanic." While a gorgeous melody by James Horner, haven't we heard enough of this song, even if it's in Italian? Otherwise, I find the CD flawless and would HIGHLY recommend it to people of all musical tastes!

Free Music Review: I am in love with Sarah Brightman's voice and her music.
Hit: 5 Stars

Eden is the main reason why. Although I've known about Sarah for quite some time, I only became truly interested after watching her concert on PBS. Then I bought "Eden," as well as "Time to Say Goodbye." From the first track on Eden, which is Eden, this album left me breathless. My personal favorites in addition to Eden are the Italian version of the Titanic theme, Deliver Me, Nessun Dorma, Dust in the Wind, So Many Things, the Last Words You Said. Hey, wait a minute. All of the tracks are my favorites. Seriously, I could listen to Sarah's sweet voice every day for the rest of my life, I believe. Right now, it is the one thing that keeps me sane commuting through Washington, D.C., traffic. My wife and I saw Sarah's concert October 12 at Constitution Hall in Washington and I was further blown away because she seems to be a terrifically nice person, as well as having the sweetest voice this side of the angels. I can't wait for her next offering.
