Free Music Notes for EdenFree Music Review: New Age Opera for "Pops" Fans! Hit: 5 Stars
Sarah's beautiful voice speaks to us from many different musical genres on this album. A Kansas favorite, "Dust in the Wind" is buried in the midst of movie themes, classical favorites and even one of the most beautiful songs ever written for voice; "Nessun Dorma." The latter is a great one to listen to as the sun slips below the horizon at the close of the day, enjoying the beauty of nature. The album has a "New Age" overtone to its production, especially in the percussion section. Some of the arrangements are reminicent of Enya's or Enigma's work. Overall, it has a musically rich, relaxing mood, great for a soak on a peaceful evening, or to calm your nerves after a rough day in the "rat race." If you enjoy clear, willowing vocals in a classically trained style, Sarah Brightman's "Eden" will be a welcome addition to your musical palette. She paints a beautiful and soothing experience for us everytime she sings.
Free Music Review: AMAZING! Hit: 5 Stars
I'm not an operatic snob, and I'm not a classical officionado, but I do know what I like, and this is it! Brightman always seems to start of her CDs with a little interlude at the beginning of her albums (in LA LUNA - "La Lune", from FLY - "The Fly", from HAREM - "Kama Sutra"). Her "In Paradisum" is long and beautiful, her voice soaring to high vocals. The next piece is "Eden", originally created by Hooverphonics, and this version is more classical than the other! It's really great! "So Many Things" is a great piece, followed by "Anytime, Anywhere", a Foreign Language - English piece (which works really well by the way). Bailero is the next piece, and it's great as well! Honestly, every single piece is beautiful, and it's a MUST-HAVE for any Sarah Brightman fan! However, the standout piece has to be "Nessun Dorma", which is a male aria, usually sung by Pavarotti or any other male. However, Sarah thought she could do it, and she did! Buy this CD!

Sarah Brightman proves once again that she is a great singer. This follow-up Cd from Time to say Good-bye will not show her power as a singer though. This Album will be more of a Cd you could listen to, to relax and lift your spirts. Her read on My heart will go on surpasses that of Celine Dion. Nessun Dorma was amazingly done ( this was the first time I heard a soprano sing this tenor aria) and well as Track 6 and 3. This CD exceeding all my expectations and will make you looking forward to Sarah's New CD Luna. With her beautiful voice and constant training she will be able to surpass all the opera critics. This Cd is a must buy for all those that think that Church ( the 16 year old ) can be compared to Sarah Brightman to prove themselves wrong. I dont think there will ever be a singer that will be able to acomplish what Sarah Brightman has....vocal power...vocal verastility....and yet have the voice of an angel..not even Callas was able to achive that.
Free Music Review: A Melodic, Stylish album !! Hit: 5 Stars
I thoroughly enjoyed this album, apart from the beautiful voice, the musicianship on the album to support her great vocals is equally great: " In Paradisum" goes down easy, beginning the album, my other favorite tracks are the title song "Eden" it has a beautiful melody with a Gregorian chant, "So Many Things", "Bailero", she also takes a stab at easy listening pop with her version of Kansas's "Dust in the Wind" just like the Kansas version, it has the accoustic guitars and violin, the only difference is Sarah lending her superb voice, no ofense to Kansas, just different that's all, and she equally delivers a good rendition like the original. "Tu" is another great track, a sensuous easygoing song, just her phrasing in Spanish could use a little work, but I still liked it. There really isn't a bad cut. For fans of Classical to easy listening music, this album is a feast and one of Sarah Brightman's finest.
Free Music Review: She has a voice of an angel Hit: 5 Stars
I have recently became a huge fan of Sarah Brightman through "La Luna". When I had the opportunity to buy this cd, I made no hesitation and quickly snatched up "Eden" to add to my cd collection. This woman is absolutely amazing. As much as I dislike "My Heart Will Go On", I love the Italian version of this song as well as Sarah's cover of "Dust in the Wind". The songs are simply stunning. Her covers are a bit hokey at best and I will admit to laughing to them when I first heard her covers but nevertheless I love the songs (covers and originals). I like how Sarah Brightman melds opera, pop and hints of electronica in her music and that is what makes her different among other female artists. She is a departure from the artists I listen to like PJ Harvey and Poe. I love her sense of overdramatic she brings to her songs although some people don't appreciate it but I can. Sarah Brightman is a true original for me.
