Free Music Notes for SymphonyFree Music Review: Symphony by Sarah Brightman Hit: 5 Stars
One of my very favorite artists is Andoria Bocceri. He often sings w/a lady whose voice is just incredible. She seems to be able to sing in other launguages. Ever since I heard her voice, I wanted to know her name.
Last month, when I heard the advertizement of Sarah Brightman's concert was coming up to just north of Seattle. I was excited because when I heard her voice, it was the voice I'm so familiar with. That was the way I've discovered her name. I just didn't know before.
Her smooth, transparent high soprano, her angelic voice puts me in the sky just like when I fly my airplane. When I'm flying above the clouds, it's nothing but wonderful feeling. That's what Sarah Brightman's voice does that to me.
Free Music Review: Sarah Brightman is tops! Hit: 5 Stars
Sarah has done it again! If you like crossover artists, you'll like her latest Symphony CD. She sang several of her new songs on the 'Fashion On Ice' show on NBC TV's ice skating spectacular in January 2008. She is stunning as ever and of course her singing talents are always tops! You can also see her perform on Andrea Bocelli's 'Vivere Live In Tuscany' DVD available on Amazon. They also appear on the same DVD on PBS quite often lately. She has one duet with Andrea with 'Canto Della Terra' on this CD and several other duets with other artists. You can also hear samples of her CD on Amazon, which is a nice service from Amazon. I highly recommend this CD and her past ones, but then again, I may be slightly biased towards her.
Free Music Review: Sarah has made herself tough to classify..... Hit: 5 Stars
...and, in the process, sold records to EVERY genre of fan. Once again, "opera meets rock", and Sarah is one of the few singers I can think of who can actually bring that off. The list of bad jazz by fine opera singers is painful to contemplate [though the late Eileen Farrell was an exception].
Sarah's gorgeous soprano is evident on every track...I shall only mention one song; "I Will Be With You [Where the Lost Ones Go]", a duet with Paul Stanley. Opera meets KISS...God help us. It's a GREAT number, dern near worth the price of the record.
Sarah Brightman is one of the great singers of our day. If you're unfamiliar with her work, grab this, and find out what all the fuss is about.
Free Music Review: It's Different Each Time Hit: 5 Stars
The greatest attribute of Ms Brightman as an artist is her ability to always bring a new twist and create a new sound each time she comes out with an album or a concert. Time to Say Goodbye, Eden, La Luna, Harem, Symphony - each one is a coherent album but each one has a different style and character. If you have listened to a couple of her CDs and expect the same from the next one, you'd be disappointed - to appreciate Ms. Brightman, one needs to keep an open mind and let HER take you on a journey. One may or may not like each and every one of the journeys she takes her audience, but she never fails to be creative and refreshing each and every time - and that's the essence of being a true artist.
Free Music Review: Sarah...... you move me...... Hit: 5 Stars
Once, years ago, while I was exploring some new music, I came upon a voice....... the voice touched my inmost heart, even bringing tears to my eyes for it's clarity and beauty. The voice belonged to Sarah Brightman. Over the years I have acquired all Sarah's compact disks and have yet to be disappointed in any of them, including this one. Symphony is truly Brightman at her very best. Not only is she beautiful and incredibly gifted, but the wide range of music offered here is unusually touching and well done.... I Love You Sarah, thanks for touching my life in such a wonderful way...... in a word, "lambent" (softly radiant). In a phrase, "lambent tongues of flame". In my life, "unforgettable".
