Free Music Notes for SymphonyFree Music Review: Stunning, brilliant, emotionally moving Hit: 5 StarsIt is impossible to listen to this CD without being moved to tears. As a musician [....] I have been exposed to all kinds of music and performance throughout the past four decades. This is an act of musical genius.
Free Music Review: Wasted my money on this one Hit: 1 StarsI love Sarah's awesome voice and talent, but this CD is terrible. Way over produced, crappy songs, crappy recording quality. Nothing to like. My wife and I loved Time to Say Goodbye, but this one sucks. Listened to it twice to be sure, then threw it away. I wasted my money. Don't waste yours.
Free Music Review: Not what I was hoping for, but still ok. Hit: 3 StarsThis CD is decent, but certainly not as mind-numbingly awesome as most of her work. It almost seems forced and the song selection just didn't do it for me.
With that said, I must add that I absolutely love Sarah Brightman. From the moment I first heard her, I had to own every single album she's ever done. Yet, with this album, I was expecting so much more. I wanted to be floored the way I was when I first listened To Dive, or Phantom, or pretty much any of her others. But this just lacked the power and beauty I've come to expect from her, and left me searching the case to see if the real CD was in there.
It's not bad, but it's just not up to the level Sarah Brightman has given us in the past. But, there's always next time... (and I will buy it).
Free Music Review: Poor Song Selection Hit: 1 StarsShe still has her wonderful voice but I was very disappointed in the selected songs. They may be modern and avant garde but they left me almost completely cold.
I bought this album for my wife on Mother's Day - a 95% disappointment. My wife and I love Sarah Brightman but to us this was a complete dud. The high reviews encouraged me to buy this but it was as far from vintage as you could get. We've listened to it for the first and last time.
Free Music Review: The beauty of song Hit: 5 StarsThis is truly a beautiful work of art. Ms. Brightman has a glorious voice. All of the songs on the cd are incredible. The duets with Andrea Bocelli, Paul Stanley, Alessandro Safina and Fernando Lima are my favorites. Very relaxing to listen to. Even my pets fall into a deep sleep when it is playing. I'm very happy I purchased it.
