Free Music Notes for SymphonyFree Music Review: Sarah's Best Work Yet Hit: 5 Stars
I recently saw Sarah's Symphony broadcast on our public TV station. And it was simply wonderful, especially with an introduction to Alessandro Safina. Where has he been? It's sad he doesn't get the press that others have gotten as in Josh Groban and Andrea Bocelli. Sarah has a way of finding wonderful male voices to accompany her with many of her CDs; they all have glorious voices. But I like Alessandro the best. I got this CD and am waiting for one of his. He sent a chill up my spine when I heard him sing on the Symphony show. If you haven't seen her show, catch it on a rerun. Alessandro sings two beautiful songs there.
Free Music Review: A Most Gorgeous Record!! Hit: 5 Stars
I've been a fan of Sarah Brightman since "Dive" and this is by far her best recording to date. Her voice is better than ever on this new CD. I believe she has had some additional vocal training because her voice is spectacular and has improved. Her voice has always been spectacular, but when you listen to tracks like Atessa, Symphony and Serai Qui, you'll see why she has been named the #1 soprano. There was a period during the Harem sessions when you could hear that her voice was a bit strained and she struggled to hit those high notes, but Symphony seems so effortless for her. She gives us nothing less than perfection here.
Free Music Review: Once again, the Angel of Music Strikes Back! Hit: 5 Stars
The latest Symphony compilation has something to be proud of..First, this is the turning point of her career being the only ethereal crossover diva as a lot of new artists have followed her direction, second, the selection is not very difficult to understand if the listener will give his ear 100% tuned to her music genre..Finally, Sarah Brightman has made again all her followers to shout out "Long Live the Angel of Music!"...We love you, Sarah as you are a very wonderful gift from heaven who provides us to continue our lives with your ethereal music...You are really an Angel sent to Middle Earth!
Free Music Review: Stunning Hit: 5 Stars
Wonderful, spectacular, inspiring. Sarah at her best. Backup vocals are superb. Orchestration is awesome. The audio quality on this cd is near perfect. This is different than Sarah's other albums, it is loud monstrously at times and as dark as the title of the first track. I enjoyed it very much and do not get tired of listening. The duet with Bocelli is amazing, two voices that can keep up with the symphony behind them and at times they overpower the orchestra. I have not heard an album with the impact of this one since "Ive got the music in me" from Sheffield labs(1975?).
Free Music Review: WOW! Should I say it again? WOW! Hit: 5 Stars
You know you love her. Don't fight it. Don't deny it. That voice just does something amazing inside our hearts. Power, passion and a strange sense of control. I say 'control' because it almost seems Sarah has to rein in her voice so the background instruments can come through as well. Fleurs Du Mal is an example. Even with an enormously powerful symphony behind her, that voice of hers still dominates. One day someone's going to tell Sarah to just let that voice of hers go and see what it can really do. I look forward to that day with great anticipation.
