OMG! I love Sarah live! She is one of the few artists who actually sounds better in person than on the cd. I saw this concert when it came to Providence and it was the best concert I've ever been to. The cd doesn't have every song she performed in the Afterglow concert, but the dvd that comes with it does. It's not the best camera shooting, but it's Sarah so who really cares? The dvd also has the music videos for "Fallen," "stupid," and "The World is on Fire," a backstage documentary, lyrics for her songs, and a complete taping of the concert. This CD/DVD features all of Sarah's biggest hits with a few lesser known songs. This phenomenal concert taken from her Afterglow Live 2004 Summer Tour is a must for any fan and should win a few new ones over too. Some performers just can't cut it live. This girl not only keeps her signature sound in tack, but does things with her voice that are down right spine-tingling. Sarah is an amazing singer/songwriter who has done so much with her gift. This is one of the best live tours you'll ever buy. DVD also features her 3 hit videos off "Afterglow" and a backstage look at her life on the road.Free Music Review: iPod Compatible, contrary to popular belief

I see a number of reviews here that indicate that this disc cannot be transferred to an iPod. I would like to point out that it can be done, and can be done simply and legally. For those who are unwilling to spend a few minutes protecting Ms. McLachlin's rights, go back to Kazaa or what have you and quit complaining about legitimate customers. I sent a request to SunnComm about getting this to my iPod, and they responded both courteously and quickly, providing instruction that was easy to follow and successful. I was there for the live concert in TORONTO this past August and this gem is a perfect gift to remember the night forever. I could even see myself on several clips. The sound is amazing and Sarah soars like never before. The only song not included is "ELSEWHERE" which was performed at the concert but for some reason was cut from the DVD. If you are a Sarah fan then this is a must to have for the holiday season. The concert is also presented in widescreen 16x9 which was an added bonus. It also includes all of Sarah's 3 most recent videos and a 15 tracklive CD all for a price well below $20.Free Music Review: Sarah's true talent shines through!

Afterglow Live captures Sarah McLachlan's summer '04 tour and it is nothing short of amazing. Her vocals are strong and brilliantly crisp without sounding produced. Speaking of the band, I love some of the new variations of the songs, namely Possession. Beautiful. The editing of the concert is a bit jarring sometimes. You can't seem to focus on any one image for more than a second or two. But that is a small gripe as the music speaks for itself. Also, the extras are extremely satisfying, all the music videos from Afterglow and a 10 minute featurette with Sarah and Rex.
